Dear brothers & sisters

please clear my dote Jesus is Powerful or His father or Both ?

In JOH 10:30
I and my Father are one.

Which means Father & son Jesus both are equal, both are powerful both are same. ok

JOH 14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Here Father is powerful not his son Jesus, we have to agree because its Jesus words.

why you believe Jesus who is not powerful ?

why don’t you believe his father ?

don’t say both are same he said “ My Father is greater than I “

....as if that "proves" that homosexuality is wrong?

Aside from the fact that a LOT of heterosexual couples also can't have children "naturally" (I'd say 40% if you add up infertile couples, couples past menopause, and so on), is making babies the ONLY reason to have a relationship with someone?

I love babies, but even if my BF was infertile and we were doomed to a childless life, I would never leave him. He's far too important to me to give up, even for babies. We'd adopt, or we'd adjust.

Why should gay people be seen as any different? Why should the "power to reproduce" show what God "wanted" except that, maybe, when people were first starting out, God "wanted" babies. Since Christians say that polygamy is wrong NOW because we don't need so many babies anymore (unlike back then when it was "right" to have many wives), maybe homosexuality is right NOW for the same reason - we're getting a tad crowded?

Does it really matter what we do on earth? Why should we (society) follow the 10 commandments (not that many people do theses days) when if when/if we go to heaven every thing is forgotten and forgiven?

This being the case which commitment would you break and why?

I am a Christian and am fully aware of the gifts of the Spirit. I am not saying that I am pschic. It seems that on a some what regualr basis things that I feel in my spirit have come to pass. What do I do? How do I handle this or is it all coincidence? I am not nor ever have been involved in the occult. I love the Lord with all my heart and soul.

Of all the miracles the desciples saw Jesus perform, why do you think that the only thing they wanted to know how to do properly was to pray?

Based on rules and assumptions about religion that most of us believe in strongly, if we had never thought of the concept of a God, then would we believe in Heaven or Hell? If not, would we even have the laws with we live by in society today? Would we have a conscience about killing another person, without fear of going to gaol, or damned in Hell? Or any Holy Wars, because we didn't think any Higher Power existed that there wasn't a place to base what we were fighting for on.
We live by a lot of religious factors today, incorporate it in our lives, but, if none of those existed, would we even be the same people with a society today, or would we be something entirely different, run by emotions and our own needs above everyone else, without technology, and not afraid of any punishment for a crime, because there would be no courts of law and people to tell us what is right and what is wrong?

Muslims, do not tell me only if ex-muslims do not attack islamic beliefs. we are free to dispute Islam, expose Islam , and you have the right to dispute other ideas. and describing our opinions as lies do not change the facts and do not ban us from our free choice... so why can't muslims condemn that violence.

Muslims claim to have peaceful religion and that Islam has no relation to terrorism. so why don't Muslims condemn violence against ex-muslims. why don't Muslims acknowledge the right of ex-muslims to preach their new religions or their non-religion?

I do not need recognition, I m like Israel, I exist whether Muslims recognize that or nott. but I m asking here, why Muslims do not condemn that violence?

I m thinking of writing a book about Islam danger to western values. and by the way I m arab Iraqi (ex-muslim, ex-shiite) but I adhere to western values, liberties and civil rights, and I m enjoying life in the west despite any racial profiling caused by terrorists.
