Muslims, do not tell me only if ex-muslims do not attack islamic beliefs. we are free to dispute Islam, expose Islam , and you have the right to dispute other ideas. and describing our opinions as lies do not change the facts and do not ban us from our free choice... so why can't muslims condemn that violence.
Muslims claim to have peaceful religion and that Islam has no relation to terrorism. so why don't Muslims condemn violence against ex-muslims. why don't Muslims acknowledge the right of ex-muslims to preach their new religions or their non-religion?
I do not need recognition, I m like Israel, I exist whether Muslims recognize that or nott. but I m asking here, why Muslims do not condemn that violence?
I m thinking of writing a book about Islam danger to western values. and by the way I m arab Iraqi (ex-muslim, ex-shiite) but I adhere to western values, liberties and civil rights, and I m enjoying life in the west despite any racial profiling caused by terrorists.

I forgot to add, only very few ppl know I m ex-muslim. but sure I ll publicize it someday and will see their reactions. but yes, we will never give up. Islamists rebelled and recited violence in streets of london to condemn cartoons, but no large crowds go in streets to condemn violence. iwe want large demonstrations, not 10 condemn veiolence. and thousands recite violence.

well if you are really a former Muslim then you would know why.... cuz its is what they really believe... right those who all do not believe should die.... though right now at this point in time the ones living here ( in the usa ) cant say it out loud just yet..... though that day is coming.... they are just waiting for the go ahead....

I found it interesting that a bunch of poor/uneducated/illegal immigrants could find a way to unite, rally and command the attention of the so called "biased" media and do it on THEIR terms.
Yet Muslims who profess to be so great and overwhelmingly peaceful and brotherly and apparently very intelligent... cannot seem to figure out how to do anything that even comes close.
They will however sit at their computers and use words to attempt to persuade everyone that they are the "religion of peace".
Was the western media lying about Islam? How about when they quoted President Bush as saying that Islam is a peaceful religion?
Oh I get it, it is only when they say anything that is not completely pro-Islam... then they are liars!

Well if you where a Shiite you where going against the teachings of Islam in the first place. We are not to put ourselves into sects or denominations. You can attack Islamic beliefs all you like, its you and you alone who will have to answer for that on judgement day. You are responsible for your own thoughts and actions. You are free to leave Islam no one stopped YOU did they? Your still here to "attack" Islam arnt you? So by the very nature of your claim you are contradicting yourself. Muslim do publicly condem violence do you not watch Al Jazeer? Islam Channel? Countless demontrations on the streets of london? Simply we do condem the violence they just dont broadcast it on FOX im afraid ask them why.
There are Billions of people on this earth who are not muslim, they are not condemed, we are happy for them to excist. In Islam we respect all religions. As an "ex muslim" would you not know that? I am a westerner born and raised, how are my western values a danger to Islam the western world is full of muslims.
Everything you said has no factual base. Write a book you would not be the first. It would not change muslims faith in any way. You would just be perpetuating stereotypes and prejudces. Go on who is stopping you. You are clearly free to be an ex muslim. you are clearly free to your own views and opinions. Where are the muslims stopping you? I condem all violence, as does any mulsim i know. Im a muslim not proceeded with anything not shiite not sunni just a muslim following the glorious Quran and Sunnah. You are free to be what you want makes no difference to me.
P.S For the several people here who claim to be "Ex Muslims" and that being so they are condemed to death. Why are you still alive then to tell your tail? If what you are all claiming to be true, would you not all be 6 feet under by now? What a crock!

Honestly, I've never heard of any violence against ex-Muslims in my country. If I heard of some, I would condemn it.
I think the governments of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Indonesia have every right to enforce their national laws, but here in the US, we have freedom of religion.

Muslims don't condem their own because it's basically a crime. They won't come out and say one word against Osama or a al Queda or the President of IRan no matter what.
They can't dream of saying the Ayotollah is an super extremist fundamentalist who doesn't speak for Islam, while we can say Pat Robertson is a super extremist fundamentalist who doesn't speak for Christianaity without any worries.
We can say Bush sucks the big one and we do it all the time and have for 200 years or more.
Total freedom to wear what we want, read what we want see what we want and think what we want.

It is quite refreshing to see that certain persons like U , whocan overthrow the shackles of Mullahs and Death fatwas do exist in reality.
As for violence, the Muslims regard it as their right in service of Islam.But if asked to answer for their sins, try to hide behind JEHAD. That fanatical sect is indeed doomed in the modern world.
