I know many christians look down on mysticism, or magik. And they also look down on Telepathy, Psychic visions/dreams, taort reading and things of that nature. They view it demonic or unholy. But what if a person is born this way? WHat if a person is born with these gifts and cant help the visions, dreams, and prophetic things that come to them? Are they still demonic?

Are we deceiving ourselves when we say that those Bibical characters lived such long lives because time was measured differently at that time?
Some have suggested that a day may have been 1000years.,or a day may may have been a minute.
Would this mean that the Jews wandered in the desert 40,000 years, or perhaps 40 minutes?
Would it mean the animals stayed on the ark 365,000 years, or 365 minutes?
Did it rain 40years, or 40 minutes?

When Christianity was spread in Early times, The Native American lost their culture and languages. The blacks lost their identity and culture and languages. Even some Asians and Latinos lost their culture and languages. Why did Christianity dominated them?

When I was younger I sincerely believed in Jesus and his word, but I've never been consistent in being disciplined to read the word everyday, like I'd be hot for a minute, but that zeal never lasted, also, I've allowed for strongholds to be built in my life with things like fetishes, and pornography, and have been driven by lust and my own gratifications for a long time. I've done some things that I have a hard time forgiving myself for, and I believe that Jesus's blood cleanses me if I'm truly repentent, but like I said the zeal and sincerity to walk in righteousness does happen sometimes but it doesn't seem to last, and honestly I go through the motions sometimes asking for forgiveness knowing I'll do it again. I am fully aware that I've made bad decisions that have put me in a place in my life that I hate. I throw my own pity parties which don't help, and often feel angry, hopeless and frustrated, suicidal, then think others have worse, then it repeats. So real believers, advice?

I have seen so many "questions" on this site about people wanting justification for the beliefs of others. What I want to know is what makes anyone believe they have a right to tell someone else what to believe? Our beliefs may be a sin in your eyes, or they may be a stupid bunch of, as one recent question stated, "bull#@$", but why should you care what another believes? What gives anyone the idea that their way is the one way for everyone?

e.g. Leviticus, Ch. No.12 Verse No.1 to 5, says that… ‘After a woman gives birth to a male child, she will be unclean for 7 days, and the period of uncleanliness will continue for 33 days more. If she gives birth to a female child, she will be unclean for two weeks, and the period of uncleanliness will continue for 66 days. In short, if a woman gives birth to a male child… ‘a son’, she is unclean for 40 days. If she gives birth to a female child… ‘a daughter’, she is unclean for 80 days. I chellenge no anybody to explain to me scientifically, how come a woman remains unclean for double the period, if she gives birth to a female child, as compared to a male child.

2/ ‘Mathematics’ is a branch, which is closely associated with science, with which you can solve problems, etc. There are thousands of contradictions in the Bible - hundreds deal with mathematics, and I’ll first touch on few of them. It is mentioned in Ezra, Ch. No.2, Verse No.1, and Nehemiah, Ch. No.7, Verse No.6,

I understand there are many many people who call themselves christian, and are not considered true christians by many. So keep in mind your 'whole christian view' when answering.
And please state your religous affiliation/denomination/sect name/ etc
Thankyou

Note: I understand that the percentage is a probably a very rough estimate. Also I dont wish you to judge the people, only judging the doctrines and view.
thanks again

Sure I could read a book, or look it up on the net, but it's not the same as hearing of the experience and belief of the people who practice it. So enlighten me. :)

The one where it says that a person in heaven looked down and saw all the people in hell and asked Jesus, "They are suffering so!" and Jesus says, "They will not be there forever, I will come down and save them."

I forgot what gospel it is, the Catholic church denied it.
