According to the religionists, you get to spend eternity praising and worshiping gods. Since they tell you you're supposed to spend your life on Earth praising and worshiping gods, it hardly seems like a reward. Sounds more like the gods have self-esteem problems.

It is really boring if such a place exists!
In the past humanity could not understand the spiritual joy, so the rewards have been interpreted as physical pleasures in some place far away from earth!
Now, we are mature enough to understand that the development of the spiritual qualities such as love, purity, wisdom, trustworthiness, modesty, sincerity... are the highest rewards to human beings.
Finally, heaven is the attainment of perfections which exist eternally as taught by the Messengers of the One True God.

Firstly, Flesh and Blood cannot inherit God's Kingdom so anyone that is ressureected to a life in heaven has to die first. Those who are chosen by God to go there have a work to do especially in the future and that is to serve as priest and Kings of God's kingdom (Revelation 5: 10; Revelation 14: 1). So, just as the government today preside over the affairs of their respective countries, so too, these ones would preside over their designated places, carrying out their duties as God assigns them to it. So its going to be an enjoyable work because it will not be filled with the pain and suffering associated with this our present world. Each would enjoy his place

There is no such thing as getting bored in heaven. When you die, you change into your true self. When people go to heaven they get to see everyone that preceded them in death and most importantly they get to be in the presence of God. That is the greatest reward ever!!!!. How can you get bored with paradise?

The Scripture teaches that "we will REIGN as kings and princes with Him", so I imagine we'll have some sort of "priestly duty" to carry out from time to time, all the while praising God for the opportunity to be there though our obedience and HIS sacrifice.

Nah - St. Peter plays the accordion, and they keep themselves busy dancing.
Once in a blue moon St. Peter will play Enter Sandman on his accordion, and a mosh pit will form.

I think they do everything they weren't allowed to do on Earth, orgies, drugs, and are always filled with the love of God. So they are never bored, and they can do whatever they want.
