questions like these tend to get answered by non-believes in hopes of putting us down and discouraging us, do you let your flesh take over and let the enemy have it's way or you fight the battle knowing that GOD is on your side, Yes they will know scripture but they do not know the meaning they are blind to the words and it hardens them they will turn the words of God against you, but will they fail or will your faith abound?

Genuinly interested, this is not a wind-up: can you tell me in a nutshell what it means to be a Hindu ? Can a white English man become a Hindu ?

I studied a little in religions and ways of life a couple of years ago and Hinduism seemed to be very colourful.

Dr. King and Mahatma Gandhi are my two heroes.

"While at seminary King became acquainted with Mohandas Gandhi's philosophy of nonviolent social protest. On a trip to India in 1959 King met with followers of Gandhi. During these discussions he became more convinced than ever that nonviolent resistance was the most potent weapon available to oppressed people in their struggle for freedom."

Man, why can't we do it without Jesus?
And please, don't say 'because the bible says so'!

Could you please try to examine the pros and cons of both a religious world, with its inherent disputes and conflicts, and irreligious world.

Important in your considerations would be whether religious belief is required for good morals and behaviour to exist. Which way you view that will be central, I believe, to your answer to the question.

Thanks again.

"And by the even and the odd (of all the creations of Allah)", 89:3.
Odds and evens individually are static, it results in motion, growth and evolution, when combined in a sequence, and become reason of life. Like male & female, something & nothing, -tive & +tive, happiness & grief, etc.

kindly comment in positive way, no rude answers if you not believe.

i'm really curious about this one, so don't get offended, just answer my question.

the organization of the catholic church is really not found in any of the scriptures that i have read. why did it change from the leadership of the apostles, and the seven men who were chosen to assist them? We have an account of an apostle being chosen to replace judas. (acts 1:23-26) In this account christ was not the one who "chose" Matthias directly, rather two qualified (i'm assuming) men were chosen by the existing eleven apostles and then lots were cast to see which one would fill the emply spot. why was this not continued every time an apostle died?

My question is, if today the Ka'abah is NUKED.

What will you be praying to? And where will allah be?

How are you going to perform your haj and how are you going to pray 5 times a day, facing where???

So, your religion depends on something tangible right? Without the stone at Mecca, you have no religion. Isn't this right? Or do you think you can do without the Ka'abah?

If you are a christian then you believe that all of mankind was wiped out when God flooded the earth. All except Noah because he built an ark and was saved. It also says that Noahs family repopulated the earth. Without evolution there would be no way that we could have so many races just by Noahs family alone. We would all be one skin color and there would be no reason for the vast number of languages.

I would take no for an answer,
Just to know I heard you speak,
And I'm wondering why I've never,
Seen the signs they claim they see,
A lotta special revelations,
Meant for everybody but me,
Maybe I don't truly know You,
or maybe I just simply believe...

Now I've never felt the presence,
But I know You're always near,
And I've never heard the calling,
But somehow You've led me right here,
So I'm not lookin' for burnin' bushes,
Or some Divine graffiti to appear,
I'm just beggin You for Your wisdom,
And I believe You're puttin' some here
