I pray to the Father through the son. I do not "speak" to the spirit. The spirit resides within me. Just as the bible says, it is our comforter. It convicts me, warns me, teaches me, guides me, lifts me up. But when I pray, I pray to God or Jesus. Although since it's God the Father, God the Son, God the Spirit, I'd say they are all in there together.
Hope that helps a bit?

Come on let's be realistic here.
Even if there was a God and spirits running around all over the place. There is no way that we as humans could relate to something on a different plane of existance!
To say oh let's pray to it. Come on if it is a being on a higher level of consciousness do you really think it has nogthing better to do then listen to you whine about your little problems? Get real not even the most interesting person on this planet would even remotely matter to a being on a higher level of intellect.
If you doubt this think of rats. Do you care what a rat feels? Do you concern yourself with their problems? Will I get cheese or what about my sister that got smashed by that metal bar while going for the cheese?
While rats are real angels and GOD are NOT! We made the whole thing up!
Oh as for relating to Jesus HOW CAN YOU????
In the time when he lived women were viewed as little bedtter then slaves. The secioty he was part of didn't have cars, computers, radios, tvs! Yet you think you can relate to him??? GET REAL!!! Besides all that HE IS DEAD!!! HOW DO YOU RELATE TO THE DEAD???

This is more weird...
Dont u agree with the 3 in 1 thing?
thats the weird thing about some christians.. they said the 3 is 1.. so why differentiate it anymore?
Jesus is no more a Jesus, Jesus and Holy spirit is no longer in this world.. they already in h eaven combined in heaven.. why should there be 3 anymore?
Dont u understand.. God is 1! Why christians cant understand that?
but i bet u dont understand ur own doctrine about 3 equals to 1 thingy.. just a wild guest...

I pray to the Holy Spirit and feel close to Him when I do. His mission on earth is to glorify Christ by reminding us of his words, and in other ways. Those who claim they have the "Holy Ghost" are probably only trying to convince God or other people how religious they are. Neither is fooled. Someone who truly has the Spirit will draw attention to Christ, not themselves. The Holy Spirit is who draws us to Jesus.

To the HS, you are under tutelage. To lead you unto godliness and holiness, ready fo redemption on judgement day.
Its as simple as that. If you do not improve spiritually over time and die a persistent wilful sinner despite the HS's prompting and counselling, you will be thrown into the fire and become unfit for the kingdom.

The Spirit is God, the Holy Trinity, so... praying to God, is like praying to THS, but i think the Bible wants us to pray directly through Him
