The limitation in time of the miracles performed by the earlier Prophets was an indication of the impermanence of their religions and the laws that they brought. By contrast, the miracle attesting to the prophethood for the Prophet of Islam cannot be temporally limited, because his message is universal and represents the culmination of all preceding religions; his prophethood requires an eternal miracle, a brilliant and eloquent proof of its immortality embedded with the ongoing scientific discoveries.

A permanent message must display to mankind a permanent and everlasting miracle, one which advances with time, so that just as it offered convincing proof to people of the past, it may do the same to people of the future. A short-lived miracle that is imperceptible to later generations cannot be a source of reference or judgment for the future.

For this reason, the Quran is presented as a permanent and everlasting miracle, the final manifestation of God's revelation. The Quran itself says: "The true and well-formulated message of your Lord has now been completed, and none is able to change it." (6:115)

For Muslims, the miraculousness of the Quran is not only a matter of religious belief, but for scholars and researchers it is a matter of scientific belief. The Quran possesses a remarkable comprehensiveness and richness, with respect to its world view and scientific content, and its ability to guide not only the individual and society in spiritual aspect, but also in the realms of natural environment and mysteries of life. There are still many matters contained in the Quran that call for investigation and await discovery by further research.

It is like most religious books. If you take it the right way, it has some very good life lessons. If you take it the wrong way, well enough said.

The Quran, can teach you to live a good life, and also how to treat others. It is a very elastic book though, like many religious books, it can be twisted in a way, to give you many different answers. The same can be done with the Bible and the Torrah. This can be a bad thing. It's through this "twisting" where some people believe that you can justify the killing of others. Again, this misinterpretation can be done with most religious books, that's where you get the different sects or groups of religions (such as you find with Roman Catholics and Fundamentalist Christians). You just have to be careful of what you read, and whom you let influence your life.

The Injil came first, which was modified by the Romans into Bible. But the most accurate of the Holy Books is the Quran...there is not one thing in it that you can contradict. The major difference between the two I suppose is what religion respectively that they are used for. The major similarity is that they both come from the same God, the Islam God, that is.

God is only one means SAB KA MALIK EK is the main concept Quran teaches us. God is RABBUL ALAMIN means Master of whole universe. All holy bookes almost advocates the same concept and draw human being toward Karma and universal brother hood means VASUDEV KUTUMBKAM. If we really follow Quran then there will be no untoward relationship or terrorism on the earth. Let us truly follow quran.

What can one say about it ?

I was presented with a copy of a English translation about a decade ago. Started to read but could not go beyond a few pages. Tried over and again with different sections but it failed to get me interested as a Book containing the word of God.

How can God hate his own creation ?
How can God propagate the killing of His own children ?
Why should he send a Prophet to wage a relentless war ?
Is not a Prophet a Wise being ? Is not wisdom reflected in Good deeds rather than angry outbursts ?

Many such questions kept tormenting me and whenever I sought clarification from the Believers either they got angry with me or made a simple comment "God knows best what He does ?"
I could not accept the same.

If someone could help me !!

The Holy Quran is a guidance to mankind for them to live in this entire world and as well as at Barzah / after life world. It content the Wahyu ( message from ALLAH )sent to mankind ( Prophet ) through Malaikat Jibril ( Angel ) for the purpose of guiding mankind about how to live in this world and what will happen in the after life. The most important thing is, ALLAH also make known to mankind that ALLAH is Almighty, exist and will never vanish. But the entire world, universe and ALL, will vanish when ALLAH wants it to happen.

It is a book like all other books of this nature. The true value lies in the maturity and perception of the reader.

The best Book ever
Quoting a few verses out of context with bad intentions would harm yourself not anyone else..

Allah says in the Quran :
Surah Tuaba Chapter 9 or quran verse 2

".....but know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah (by your falsehood) but that Allah will cover with shame those who reject Him. "
Verse 3
"And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage,- that Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the Pagans. If then, ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away, know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith."
Someone Quoted
Surah 8 verse 60: 60.(Translated by Yousaf Ali) Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.
But the person did not mention the next verse of the same chapter,Allah says in Chapter 8 verse 61(Al Quran)
61. But if the enemy incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah. for He is One that heareth and knoweth (all things).

So is the case with other material he has posted, out of context and not able to understand it..
