Big things like not loving just your brother but love your enemies.
And being of no part of the world.

Yet churches embrace national politics and pride. Praise soldiers going in to battle.
Sharing in the bloodshed of their brothers in foreign lands because they come from another nation.
Leaders using the media to highlight political agendas when they should not be involving themselves in a world that is ruled by Satan that is soon passing.

I can go on.

Overall the thing is impossible to follow 100%. You have to read the entire thing and then be able to cut through slang over 2,000 years old. Different factions of the Cristain Mythology select different portions of the bible to cling to and then call every other faction that don't very closely match their own set of restrictions and beliefs, "sinners", and "damned to hell". Unused portions of the bible are largely ignored. If we took the example of Joshua taking Jerico, the USA should have killed everyone in Iraq after taking the place in 2004. Years ago they had Muslims to attack, but that trend died out after the raids of plunder known as the crusades in the pre-Renisance period. The Muslims ruling in Palestine in the 12th century were actually very trusting and tollerent people. When the Muslim loot ran out the Christains attacked the Knights Templar (the Christains' own elite guard) for more plunder. The Jews were another good target until WWII and now that they are an endangered species and cannot be touched. Besides the NAZIs took most of their wealth and socked it away in Swiss and Swedish banks before getting exterminated. The Christains can't very well attack Switzerland and Sweden now, can they? The Christains now have to fight each other. Ever notice that they only have plastic knives in resturants where Baptists and Mormons eat together? The Christain factions divide largely along the lines of alcohol consumption, pre-maratial sex, and violence restrictions. Personal Preference Advise: When in doubt, side with the faction that has a good local mechanic (like Gomer Pyle before he went USMC) who will work on your car as inexpensively as possible.

What part of the Bible are you reading? Which people aren't doing what it says? What is it that they are not doing?

Without the answers to these questions there can be no answer.

Okay homie...FYI, after you become saved you are not automatically St. Jude okay your still Jack straight from the block so all of your old ideas and such kind of stay with you for a while. Do you not see how one might go to war out of love for his brother? Jesus said: "The greatest love a man can show is that he lay down his life for his friends."

Would you have said this during WWII? Would you be the one down with loving the end of the extermination of the Jews, Gypsies, people of African descent etc.? If so we have to end this conversation, if not then don't be so duplicitous. Getting into politics,Jesus said: "give unto Ceaser what is Ceasers and give unto God what is Gods." you don't think that changing the laws to fit our morality set should be done? Christians do not believe in abortion and that was passed into law what do you suggest we do? I can't think of a more peaceful means of getting what we want then to vote in the people that will do what we want and vote down the laws we don't like can you?

What does it say?

One verse that only through faith, not works, can come to the kingdom of heaven. But, another says the Faith work out works is dead.

It's all up to interpretation. Once you think you know what to do according to the Bible; most of the time is easier said then done. After all, do you follow everything that you interpret from the Bible? "Judge not lest ye be judged."

Which part? Everyone cherry picks the stuff they like from the bible.

"Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man."
