Dear brothers & sisters

please clear my dote Jesus is Powerful or His father or Both ?

In JOH 10:30
I and my Father are one.

Which means Father & son Jesus both are equal, both are powerful both are same. ok

JOH 14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Here Father is powerful not his son Jesus, we have to agree because its Jesus words.

why you believe Jesus who is not powerful ?

why don’t you believe his father ?

don’t say both are same he said “ My Father is greater than I “

Jesus is the Son of God
No man can come to the Father with out comming to the Son
God the Father comes first...He is the creator of us all and Most High and Most Powerful and Jesus is in respect of His Father and Most Powerful as He sits at the right hand of God and that is a good position to be in that He is a go between for us and you need not to worry about His power as we have no power to judge and Jesus is our judge. We can not say who is more powerful and it is by Jesus that we are healed and move and have our being and existance. Some questions need not to be asked as to who is most Powerful....Believe keep the faith I hope this helps you.

Jesus and His Father have the same power as God. God the Father is greater than God the Son in terms of the father and son relationship which is logical. The Son respects the Father as His Father.

Oh he's powerful - he made me a toasted cheese sandwich last monday, and well - it was rapturous .....anyways

Does he refer to Jesus himself the individual ?Jesus as a beleiver? Jesus as aman? Jesus as a living thing? Because in that we are all 'one with the father'

The divinity of Jesus, trinity especially is a catholic thing, you may want to do a bit of research on the 'nicene' creed circa 3-400 and especially the divisive 'filoque clause' but really does saying 'I and my Father are one' mean what you presume it means, what some established churches say it means, divinity and equal footing, 'power'.

Evidence is a bit thin on the ground for a biblically derived trinity in this respect.

2nd phrase - Jesus justyfying to his disciples wandering off on sunny days to sit under trees thinking, communing with God who he says is greater....well it's said plainly, if it's translated correctly' so from a literal reading of the bible rather than later established custom I would go for the God is greater than everything approach.

Jesus, who though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death- even death on a cross. Therefore God also highly exulted him and gave him the name that is above every name so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.

Only God the Almighty is powerful, there is only one God. Jesus was his messenger, whom he elevated from the rest of mankind to preach His teachings to the people of his time.

Jesus was a prophet. He might have had some powers. All are children of god.So he too called God as father. He taught us how to live a good life.I do not think he has any power. He is dead and gone.

God said you can ONLY go to Him through His Son. That makes His Son pretty powerful. "I and My Father are ONE"

I personally believe in the Trinity. God is the spirit form, Jesus is the human form, and the Holy Spirit is how God communicates with humans.
