Are you religious? yes,

Surely, there is a good example in them for you - for all who have hope to see Allah and the Last Day. And whosoever turns away - truly, Allah is Self-Sufficient, Worthy of all praise.

If so what faith/religion do you follow? islam

Blessed is He Who has made in the heaven mansions of stars and has placed therein a Lamp producing light and a moon that reflects light.

And He it is Who has made the night and the day, each following the other, for the benefit of him who desires to remember, or desires to be grateful.

And the true servants of the Gracious God are those who walk on the earth humbly and when the ignorant address them, they avoid them gracefully by saying, 'Peace!'

And who spend the night in prostration and standing before their Lord,

And who say, 'Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell; for the punishment thereof is a most vehement torment,

'It is indeed evil as a place of rest and as an abode.'

And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly but adopt a moderate position in the middle;

I'm an atheist

Why would anyone believe in such drivel as religion? Religion was created to control people. Its forced upon us when we are children, using fear and intimidation to the point where we believe that we will be eternally damned if we don't follow the rules. Its used as an excuse to go to war and has been the cause of nearly every war known to man. Religion has been used for evil purposes around the world, some of the worlds worst attrocities were done in the name of religion. Why do we need it? We don't! Science holds the answers to everything

I'm a Christian within the Afrikaans-speaking Dutch Reformed Church (South Africa). This church falls under Protestant Christianity. I believe in a one, living, trinitarian God (Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit). Many people find it impossible to understand that one God contain three persons, and I am not gonna say that I understand everthing, but the understanding is not the important thing here. It is believing and obeying and loving other people, by showing God's love and grace to other people. I love to do research in other religions and cults in order to gain a better understanding of what people really are believing in this world. It really scares me sometimes when I read of the absolute sick and weird things people believe. But God is powerful, he is in control of this world (even if it doesn't look like it for humans). I can't wait for the return of Jesus to this world.

Sorry I'm Anti-religious. I'm prepared to believe there could be Greater Beings than Man but not in the God/Goddess figures that are described by any religious group!

Not religious but very faithful in Christ and that He died for me although I or none of us deserved it. Religions are manmade. I don't follow man, I follow Christ.Religions rely on works and rituals for salvation, God offers a free gift of salvation. How does one EARN a gift?

I was raised Catholic, and consider to be a Christian, although I feel God -Jesus to be my religion, my best friend the only true one that I can safely fall back on and not be seriously hurt, he is everything that I want to be. I am protected in the light that shines through the holes of his hands.
