because we are the creation, therefore, we are dependant on God.

Because no matter how old people get, they need that eternal parent. They are content knowing that there is some powerful being so they don't have to worry about the big things. God is a creation by people to lazy and scary to deal with their own problems

Well Allah is the creator, he has no needs. We need Him.
After we die, we will all be judged on the "Day of Judgement", before God (Allah) admits us to Paradise or the Hell-Fire. This life is merely a test, to determine where we're going to dwell forever! Jesus (pbuh) was a Muslim. All of the prophets sent before Jesus (pbuh) were Muslim. Basically, they were all conveying the same message -- to worship only one God and to do good and forbid evil. Allah revealed to the last prophet, Muhammad (pbuh), the Holy Qur'an, which has never and will never be changed (because Allah has protected it).
In any test, don't we want to score as high as we can? This is the biggest of them all, it's too bad many people don't even realize that they're being tested.

the ego needs god to find its completion - god is just a word, and an ideal that the ego wants to become - once you let go of the ego and god, then you find that the reality that you are looking for was within you all the time

I remember racking my brain trying to figure out how God came into being back in my Christian days. I came to the conclusion that he must have evolved, then I got to thinking, why couldn't have we just evolved?
