Okay you like to ask this question alot so here we go.

The Christian God has:

1) An explanation for the creation and existance of the world and the universe around it.

2) A message of conduct and wisdom that has been passed on for thousands of years using many different authors but have maintained a level of relevance and consistancy throughout

3) A system of prophecies of which many have already been fulfilled

4) An explanation of the purpose of life

5) An explanation for the moral state of our current world and the plan that will be set to remedy its fallen state.

Now what does the Flying Spaghetti monster offer again????????????

Well...mabye because we live in the year 2007 AC (after Christ) and not 2007 AFSM (after Flying Spaghetti Monster)

The bible is in History, The bible stories are backed up by archeology findings. The Flyin spaghettin monster is just plain out silly and if you really believe in that stuff...then you are probably 4-7 years old? or need ot see a professional therapists?

It is a parody of GOD or religion. Just replace 'flying spaghetti monster' with GOD, and you will have the same story.

First off, what do you mean it's not socially acceptable? People might find it faintly ridiculous, but there are people who will find any organized belief system laughable.

The FSM is a satire on Christianity and other organized religions. Add that to the fact that it's a recent "belief system" and of course it's not going to have tons of serious followers.

Yes, we should all listen to the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

It's a nice read, a lot more interesting than the bible. *nodnod*

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

dahling, it's not that it's socially unacceptable to believe in the flying spaghetti monster, it's just that it's totally unheard of. quite a nice distinction, don't you think?

methinks you need to work on this one...
