I pity the fool who thinks I might be a christian! LOL
But in one way or another we all are trying to fill the intangeable void we have. Or just the physical one. LOL

Huh?

fill the void. You mean find meaning in life? Yes Christianity is incredibily fullfilling. People earn millions and billions of dollars, get hundreds of piercings and sleeping with 100's of sex partners and still feel empty inside. And yes I am very rational and am just as much attracted to the rational side of Christianity as the spiritual side

No, I am a Christian because I believe Jesus Christ was born of a virgin mother and sacrificed Himself on the cross to redeem me from my sins. I believe He is the Son of God. I love Him because He first loved me. With Him, there is no void left to fill.

The "void" you speak of was created by you when you listened to ignorant people teaching you that you were supposed to know the answers to every question.---Do you know how many peanuts are in the 1/2 jar of peanut butter in your fridge?--how often it will rain in 2007?-- how many people walked on your street last week?
Does it bother you not to know these answers?
Do you feel a void in your life?
Are you required to know everything,--even if you are in no position to know these things, just as other honest people are not.?

If you scrutinize your questions, you will find the answer there. Each one aspires for fullness and perfection. Religion, science, philosophy and many other branches of knowledge or even conduct fills in an empty area in one's mind or character. The most important thing is that one knows and recognizes what he/she lacks and tries to fill it.

Creationism is for the weak of mind. Creationists or religious types are like sheep. They simply follow the herd and shut up. Very ignorant and small brains as well, so I hear.

Well lets see, satan's greatest sin was to do it all by himself and have it all, so you tell me, those that don't want to be saved, insist on doing it themselves like satan, so be like him and we all have a void, and you can fill it with self gratification or you can fill it with God.

That is one reason yes.
Someone else asked me if I was a Christian because I am weak, yes that too. He is strong when I am weak.
But there are more.
Most will say they are christians from a personal spiritual experience. I've had many many of these.
