The Jehovah Witness teach that salvation is of works and not a free gift. That bible on the other hand teaches that salvation is of faith least any man should boast. So the witness have been told to come to kingdom halls 5 times a week and to go out a witness to people so they can be saved maybe.
Jesus said i am the way the truth and the life. He promised eternal life and he promised he would never depart from you and he would never leave you.
The 144 thousand in the book of revelation are stated by the jehovah witness as being the members of the JW that are going to heaven, yeat in the account in revelation the church of Jesus has already been raptured at that point and the 144,000 are 12,000 virgins born from each tribe of Israel. Thus they can't be believers in Christ. The jehovah witness forbid any research on there religion by the members of the JW. So Are they a cult? And are the saved?

Don't you know your god commands you to do no work on the Sabbath? Or are you all just a bunch of hypocrites.

Note: Anyone who types in a response to this is breaking the Sabbath. SINNER.

I mean I gather their are alot of holy books and quite a long time of tradition; longer than any other widely held religion that comes to my mind.

(I dont count Wicca because of the discontinuity; i.e, the religion was killed and then revived. It does not have a provable unbrokenm tradtion. Its still a valid religion but ...)

I guess my point is we all have faults, but we can change them and we aren't grounded to a life of sin, even though sin is a natural part of human behavior, we can change and better ourselves for the future, enhancing our relationship with God.

Obviously it didn't really exist, but what I'm saying is that everyone has a different view of paradise. I enjoy snow and cold weather. I like skiing, dog mushing, and many other snow related activities, and it seems I wouldn't be able to do these things in the perpetually warm Garden of Eden.

What I'm asking to Christians who literally believe Eden existed is this: Doesn't everyone have a different view of paradise? And why should I accept the Garden of Eden as an ideal?

Okay I have a question for you. What are your thoughts on the Christians who tell everybody that isn't Christian that they are going to hell? Do you think they give you a bad name? Also, aren't they not supposed to be judging people, as it's god's job?

I'm pretty sure I lost my soul. I feel numb and odd all the time. People often say they don't even realize i'm there although i've been there the whole time. (ie: sitting in chair, at work, in a group etc). Happens all the time. I feel an odd sense around me all the time - hard to explain but its like I can disappear or do things right in front of people without them even knowing. As "beneficial" as that may sound, its not. I can't even put into words how it bothers me. I could go on and on with a million different examples of the odd stuff that happens around me but i won't bore you. My only question is how do I get my soul/spirit back?

Or is this religion, cult, or whatever you want to call it, just among the rich and famous? If you are a Scientologist, can you explain its concept to me?

I haven't gotten very far, but have noticed at John 1:1, in Greek, there are two different spellings for "God", different in reference to the Word. Upon further investigation, I realized that there are various alternate spellings for "God" in the NT original Ancient Greek, depending upon context or usage. Can anyone shed any light on this, or provide a link whereas I can compare the different spellings and their various meanings? Thanks!

And you will have worms, and itch and can't scratch, and suffer painful farts?
Why do I have to keep telling you people this, and you refuse to believe?
What will it take to persuade you? (Contact your local Baptist church for details. Please have your credit card ready.)

Sin.

Why are Christian so obsessed with this concept? Why can no body be innocent? Don't bother to quote your book,

If you ask me, Yahweh seems pretty adolescent, with his entire LAW fetish. Essentially, he places the divine on a ledge so far away, Christians can't even see it, and expects them to aspire to join it. Maybe they should learn to stop feeling guilty for being born?

How have you experienced God's love?
How have you experienced it in hard times, when you've felt unlovable, when all seemed lost, when in despair; or how have you been aware of it during good times, or how have you been surprised by it? I'm giving a presentation on the subject and would love to hear from many of you.

Only "TRUE" believers go to "heaven"

So what if the only reason you believe in God is because as a kid you learnt about "Hell" and are scared

Would you be considered a "true" believer if its something that is forced upon you by other people and never actually understand but follow it anyway??

in Christianity? They've been making me go to church for as long as I can remember and I'm sick of hearing the same crap over and over again. What's the best way to convince them to let me choose my own religion, one that's really right for me? Also, what do you think would be the best choice: Buddhism, Atheism, or Wiccan?
Polite answers are requested, thanks.

Its just one of those questions, that you have to think through, is having a very populated earth a positive or negative thing...and since we do have such a populated planet, what are some ways we can go about making it the paradise we all dream of?

Many expect deception and false teaching to be the extreme opposite of God's Word as seen in the occult, or as overt as a Jim Jones Cult. However, I've found that MORE people are deceived, when a false teacher or prophet, presents their views with kindness, and places huge emphasis on ACTIONS that can be seen and judged by others.

Eph 2:8-10 says: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

There are many who attend church weekly, are well versed on scripture, and help others daily, who will not be saved, if they do not have a personal relationship with God and stand firmly on a foundation of TRUTH according to God's Word. Have you noticed that people choose religions based on how it fits their personality, or personal likes and dislikes?
