How have you experienced God's love?
How have you experienced it in hard times, when you've felt unlovable, when all seemed lost, when in despair; or how have you been aware of it during good times, or how have you been surprised by it? I'm giving a presentation on the subject and would love to hear from many of you.

On several occasions.

But i think the most memorable time was on a weekend trip called "Walk to Emmaus".
www.upperroom.org/emmaus

This weekend is designed to help christians seek more about Jesus Christ by getting away for a few days. being in an environment with other christians who are on a "journey" as well. There are speakers and lots of singing and group activities. It was a very good experience for my early christian life.

Everybody comes away with a different way the weekend touched them personally, but for me it was the Love of God that stood out to me. I had stepped down from behind the pulpit a year earlier. I really needed a break as my first church beat me up pretty good, as is the case with pastors in their first or second church.

I wasn't even sure if I was supposed to go on with ministry at all. I wasn't sure whether or not i was of any use to the Lord at all anymore. But during this weekend I realized just how much the Lord does love me. And, if he loves me that much then he definately can use me again.

God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus to this world to die for our sins, in our place. It should have been us dying up there. We should have had to pay the price for our own sins. But the Lord took that all upon Himself. And, we get the Gift. He paid the price, but we got the Gift.

Hope that helps you somehow

Jesus Loves You

I've been on "Both Sides" of the spiritual fence, tried walking in the middle rationalizing I wasn't that bad of a person but still I had bad days when everything I touched broke.
More years into my life a Christian marriage and then some 7 years later a son was what seemed normal, didn't present a problem in our givings and gave us a lot to do inside our church body.

Outside looking in into any situation is always risky when the thought of loosing a life is concerned. One thing I stand tall is we still have a free choice of what our final destiny will be and if I am wrong please know I was taught & belive there is a loving God able to forgive and a loving God that blesses His children like He has blessed me with so much. And NO power can come against those that knows the one who will cast Satan in the lakes of fire.

In a million Corinthians 13 it talks approximately what Love is in Gods eyes...If we don't stay by His definition then we at the instant are not loving. Love is an mind, a dedication, a option to maintain on with Gods notice. that's not an emotion for devil performs with mans thoughts and thoughts exchange on a regular basis, as quickly as you study a million Corinthians 13..Love is affected person, Love is variety...and as quickly as we vere off of those words in forming our character to be like Christs, we at the instant are not Loving...In Gods Love. Charity is yet another notice for romance....that's not an ordinary job yet possible via Christ..we would desire to study those verses on a regular basis and remember them as quickly as we are coping with human beings enormously as quickly as we are upset to hold directly to those words...Be indignant yet sin not. God provide you power in His Definition. Love you in Christ...missleslie

God allowed me to realize that all religion was just business and corrupt and never to have anything to do with it again. God's love also told me to try to convert as many people away from religion as possible, and that his love will grow if that happens.
Or maybe since there is still so much suffering and pain and corruption, etc around the world, most in the name of God and religion, God maybe is not loving, but enjoys watching people suffer. Maybe that is what God loves, is suffering and we just don't realize it. For centuries people gave God the love and praise and kissing up that God wanted and the evil continued. Maybe God just is playing both sides as it gets people kissing up to him.

I have. In fact, I have recently taken a leap of faith, and things are turning out better every day, and they are also making more sense as each day passes. It is amazing that a prophet can be so right, even when it can be so hard to follow him. I have learned of God's love through his support for me, when I have had to make hard choices in order to follow Him. He has never let me down.

I think the most tangible expression of God's love during the trying times of our life is when He brings someone truly wonderful into our lives just when we seem to need them most. Someone with a loving nurturing soul that lifts us up and offers their unconditional love and gives us hope in not only ourselves again but helps us to have faith in others around us as well. It's like God send us our very own angel to watch over us and all we have to do is appreciate the precious gift and never take it for granted and also to remember to give thanks to the giver....Thank you, thank you....for bringing my Aala to me....

Yes i have experienced it before. And it drove me to believe that if no-one will love me, i always have God with me so there is no need to be afraid. I think that, If you experience God's love it makes you enjoy life more and that even if you are depressed, you won't commit sucide. God bless..x

Yes, I experienced the love of an imaginary God. It was wonderful.

Your emotions are commendable. The love of an imaginary God can be glorious. I myself am living proof. Moreover, the love of imaginary angels.

And Heanven too is truly imaginary and splendid! Praise be unto you, my child!
