I agree. This is stupid. What does it have to do with faith? What if I made a museum with displays featuring UFOs building the pyramids of Egypt; would that give any weight to the theory aliens built the pyramids?
There are a number of literalists out there, unfortunately, who lack the subtlety to understand not everything was meant to be taken as is. In fact, there are actually two stories of the creation in Genesis.

Considering that Bar-B-Que is a sauce concocted of spices and tomato's, I agree, your ancestors didn't eat if only because it wasn't until the thirties that tomatoes were considered eatable! As for the supposed religious fundies, if they want to spread gullibility, more power to them, we need diversity in order to make technological advances.
