some one had to tell the authers of the bible. what I am trying to say people is the first chapter of the bible proves the existence of god"and darkness was apon the face of the deep and the spirit of god mooved across the face of the water" GOD was here and told the authors what to write how else could they have known???or was the hole earth being covered in water just a wild guess ? impossible the only witness would have been GOD himself YES or NO ??

there is proof that the story of noah's ark is true because we have found it on MY ararat. why do unbelievers still dont believe? what do they think happened about the story of noah's arc? he couldn't of built that big boat for nothing and not knowing there was going to be a flood comming soon. "GOD" MUST HAVE told him!. y cant people take a chance to believe in everything in the bible even when some evidence dont make sence but the evidence found proofs it?
unbelievers usually give up and dont believe because they think the bible doesn't make sense. the bible is basically the only evidence! and how did some of the stories in the bible happen to be true like noah's arc. and if noah's arc is true-again which it is- then god must be real!so y believe in parts of the bible but not the whole thing?knowing noah's arc is real-which is knowing god is real-dont you think god would've destroyed the book the Bible
because it's all over the world? but he didn't,so the bible DOES tell the truth

Deuteronomy 20:12 And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war against thee, then thou shalt besiege it:

20:13 And when the LORD thy God hath delivered it into thine hands, thou shalt smite every male thereof with the edge of the sword:

20:14 But the women, and the little ones, and the cattle, and all that is in the city, even all the spoil thereof, shalt thou take unto thyself; and thou shalt eat the spoil of thine enemies, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.

Let's look at religion here. It is an entire belief system founded upon a pile of ideas and theories, and no solid evidence to prove it.

Religion was all until mankind made several discoveries that linked toward what was dubbed the theory of evolution. With solid, tangible support, how can it be challanged by an idolized fantasy novel?

Yet there's a reason why scientists call it a theory, and why many of them are spiritual. They have uncovered nothing that can disprove the existence of a god or gods or some form of higher power. All science has at this point is theories, and Atheists take to heart these theories.

Some of them roam the internet looking to pick apart the religious and prove themselves right, thereby succeeding in turning Atheism into a religion. Ironic.
Do you agree?

There's a project that's recently launched to build a mosaic of Jesus. It's internet-based and intended to help offer a new way to express one's Faith, share that with others, and receive the same in return.

What do you think of the idea of building a mosaic of Jesus on the internet ?

For 3 months I have heard people incorrectly define the "Gospel".

Doesn't anyone read the Bible anymore? Do we all just listen to Bubba Preachers and then regurgitate their vomit onto this chat group.
----
Are you all idiots, or are you simply parrotting something you heard from a religious leader trying to build and grow his empire?

Why would the "world" care if Jesus rose from the grave?
What was the "good message" that the world would care about and could test immediately for its validity?

Clue, Jesus never said look at my body, my body is your quick fix ticket to Heaven. Jesus constantly asked you not to look at him, but to listen to his message.
(Jesus warned us that saying "Lord, Lord" would not give us forgiveness. He specifically told us not to worship him or consider him perfect. Only early church leaders, Paul and others, told us to worship Jesus, and to believe Jesus blood washed away our sins; past, present, and future sins. --- Jesus said no such thing)

I doubt that people were just trying to compare the verses to real events so the predictions could make some sense

My sister just recently asked me "Do you think I was reincarnated from a kitty?" She acts ALOT like a cat, in her behavior, and actions-wise. She doesn't meow or anything, but she won't move out of your seat when you push her, she bites (she isn't retarded, I swear. She's very smart. She acts very wild at home, but in school, she is VERY quiet.) I also want to know if I was reincarnated from anything? Does anyone know any sites?

1 Thessalonians 4
13Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18Therefore encourage each other with these words.

There is more misinformation on this forum than anywhere else, and there is no accountability for people who tell wrong facts. It sickens me.

I was born to a catholic family. I was expelled from a Catholic Grammar School in fourth grade for asking too many questions. The Nuns felt that I was not to question, just believe. Phooey! After much consideration and research into different religions, I came to the conclusion that I just don't believe in the whole concept of religion. Religion has been the cause of so many wars, deaths, etc. Why can't everyone just follow the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have then do unto you? Why pray in church? Does Church have a direct sattelite to a Higher Power? Also, are there any religions that are NOT oppressive to Women? It's all a little fishy if you ask me. It seems there are too many religions for just one to be the ticket to eternal peace.

I don't know if you believe in the predictions of Nostradamus or not. The 3rd WW will involve Iran, Israel and China, and the USA.
The Antichrist (the 3rd one!) will cause it to happen. What happened to the first 2 Antichrists? Who would volunteer to fight WW3? Somewhere in the future, WW4 will be fought with sticks & stones! What's your opinion on predictions by anyone? I predict someone will answer this question. Will I be right?
