some one had to tell the authers of the bible. what I am trying to say people is the first chapter of the bible proves the existence of god"and darkness was apon the face of the deep and the spirit of god mooved across the face of the water" GOD was here and told the authors what to write how else could they have known???or was the hole earth being covered in water just a wild guess ? impossible the only witness would have been GOD himself YES or NO ??

Moses wrote the first 5 books of the Bible. Moses spent 40 days on the mountain speaking face to face with God, and it was during this time that God told Moses the story of creation. Moses wrote the story as he was told it.
You are correct...nobody but God and the angels were around when the earth was covered with water.

I think I understand what you're asking. It isn't the flood you're talking about, it's before creation actually started, right? Yes, you are very right. It was God that told the author, which was Moses, how everything happened and in what order and so forth.
That isn't proof that evolution happened, because the only living Spirit that was here was God. There was no living thing whatsoever. Hey, I know I'll get thumbs down here, but I just read it in the Bible and I believe everything I read in the Bible. Everything in the Bible is true. That is what I believe.

before the earth was covered with water God told Moses to build an ark, Moses and his family and two of each of all animals were upon the ark until the rain stopped and the earth was dry. God was always in his heavens. God Is Beginning and the Ending!!

Dont take the bible too literally...Its most stories with a "MESSAGE"....If you want factual evidence as to what happened in the begininng you will have to turn to science....and boy do they have evidence...and it mostly contradicts everything the bible says. You have to remember, the bible was written in a time where the people NEEDED to get a grasp of what was happening around them...I mean, if i lived back then and an Eclipse happened i would freak out...these stories put more control into their hands....today though science is the new bible of understanding.

or there is no such thing as God, I'm not sure, I'm the kinda guy that has to see it to believe it. I don't believe however that all of a sudden there was a God. Maybe organisims
