I'm sort of an agnostic atheist (or whatever,i don't truly label myself), i somehow hope there is a form of Higher Power in this universe, that spreads an energy of Love. But I don't really believe in it. I do not believe the biblical God is real.

I see a lot of Christians complaining how they get bashed by atheists. Somehow i understand that. They don't believe in a God, you all do. Almost every question they ask implies a question about the absence of God, because that's their belief. You take offense to those questions because to you God is a real concept.

I can understand that a question about the absence of God hurts you more than it would hurt an atheist to hear about God.

I read the Bible, and i truly have lots of questions about it, because Christianity is still a large influence in politics.Sometimes your Bible makes me angry, sometimes it makes me doubt.

In what format can non-believers ask questions so that you will feel less offended?

Why do people get intensely angry when someone tells them about the Unconditional Love of God? With Jesus, they were so angry that they both killed the messenger and the egos of his followers and the early church killed the message by changing it into what their egos wanted to hear. What the heck is so alarming about Unconditional Love that it causes people to get so friggin angry? When I suggested to someone that there is no hell, they asked me, angry and incredulous, 'then why do good?'. Wow ... what is the basis of this thinking?

...by quoting the Bible?

It seems that every time I ask a Christian why they believe in the Bible, they quote the Bible! How can they not see the flaw in that logic? How can a Christian, in good conscience, use that as an argument?

How can Christians try to use the Bible to prove things to people who DON'T BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE IN THE FIRST PLACE? How on earth can they expect this to work?

Also: why do (some) Christians seem to think the Bible is a valid source of information? That it contains a few facts known to be historically correct does not make it infallible!

And how do your religious/spiritual beliefs or lack thereof effect your feelings on the topic?

For those of you that don't know in a few months cloned meat, meat product, dairy products, etc will start showing up on shelves and a lable to differentiate it will not be required. Short of becomming vegan or buying all Organic you will not be able to avoid it.

The bible says to not practic magic, like the wizards, but what is classified as magic?
Is telekinesis magic? Is it okay to practice telekinesis? I know it's bad to practice the communication with spirits because those aren't human spirits, they are demons masqerading as human souls, all human souls go to either heaven or hell, also is sinful to summon the dead. But what is magic?

We make images of God based on our own human thought system. The Islamic suicide bomber is a BELIEVER and is 100% convinced (based on interpretation of his experiences) that his image of God is 100% correct. Anyone who disagrees with that image would be labeled an atheist by him. And many others have different ego-projected images of God based on our human thought system (reward, punishment). Some of the parables made it into the bible relatively unchanged (whereas most of Jesus’ message was dramatically changed) and we see Jesus trying to get this across with the prodigal son parable. The ‘good’ son is the BELIEVER who doesn’t get the nature of God but, instead, made god into his own image (one who should reward for obedience and belief, etc.). God tries to get across what the ‘good’ son missed but I’d bet he didn’t get it (which is why even if God came and spoke to all the ‘believers’, they would rather kill him instead of changing what they think God should be like).

Science - All based on fact and long research. almost unquestionable and that that is questionable is researched more.

Religion - Based on unfounded beliefs and no solid facts exist in it favour.

What do you think. Do you believe both.Whats your beliefs on evolution, stem cell research etc

When you have people saying things like "I say kill em all before they destroy civilation." getting thumbs up against us. So even though it is a minority of muslims who kill, while the rest are still labelled as killers, there's people preaching hate towards us (the innocent ones) and that's ok?

Jesus is not divine in Judaism or Islam...yet his divinity is the touchstone of Christianity. Jesus warns about the fate of those who reject his teachings...it will be worse than that of those from Sodom and Gomorrah. What's your stance...do all religions provide different perspectives on a common diety or does believing in Christianity require rejecting all other faiths as false?

I met an professor once who said "its rational to hate Islam". This took me by suprise, and because I respected him, I considered it for a moment.

First, of course, you must know what Islam really is...you must do the homework.

Its common for simple people reject this, without knowing the first thing about Islam. Unfortunately, westerners are raised to believe that they should love everything. Of course they dont, but they believe they should, and thus reject claims like I make here without even thinking it through.

Why hate Islam? Its like asking whether one should hate "hatred" itself, and the answer is "yes".

Nothing is uglier than the combination of absolute self righteousness and ignorance. Islam consistently manufactures sheeple who are supremely self righteous and supremely stupid.

Now add this ignorance and self righteousness to the hate and genocide doctrines of the Quran. Wow, what a potent mixture that is.
