Buddhists aren't allowed to harm. The Christian God sends his "children" to hell. You decide.

Buddhism is more peaceful because the basis of their religion is that all mankind has peace and happiness within themselves. That seems to be the top priority of their religion. There is no real form of punishment within Buddhism. Have you ever seen an interview with the Dali Lama? He is probably about the happiest person on this planet! BTW, did you know that Richard Gere is Buddhist?

Buddhism and I say that even as a Christian. Im not saying that Christianity is violent, I never heard of Jesus preaching violence and love and mercy are very peaceful. But Buddhism goes further by claiming enlightenment is through peaceful mediation.

I would have to say from personal experience that Christianity is more peaceful.
When I was a kid we went to a Buddhist temple to meditate and the monks there would swat the kids with sticks if they weren't quite.
But that's just my personal experience on buddhist.
I have a question for you.
If the bible is wrong, then why worship the fallen angles found in its pages? Why worry about them at all.
But if it is true, then why worship fallen angles given what is written of them?
Either its ture or it isnt right?
Bye and god bless.

Budahism is more peaceful as it believes in tranquility and karma.
Christianity is not peaceful, I think the crusades are proof enough of that.

Christianity peaceful? That's a joke, right? Buddhism wins that one by default among other reasons.

Buddhists do not try to impose their religion on others, unlike Christianity which has been forcing their religion down peoples throats since the beginning, using violence when necessary.

Christianity- its the only religion that gives you the "peace" of eternal life. As far as people being peaceful - Neither- it's not about religion.. its about the individuals. Both religions have extremes and both have good people.

Given that Christianity has a long history of Conquest and Violence it would have to be Buddhism.

Maybe I'm ignorant in this, and if I am I'd love to be corrected, but I've never heard of a war fought in the name of Buddha. And they don't aggressively try to convert people either.
