Who cares!! God is God and it makes no difference what color he is. God is a Spirit, so I don't connect color with him, but even if he is purple or blue he is still God.

No, God is clear; no color at all. You can see right through Him.

Actually, it's sort of interesting that almost all the pictures of Jesus we see have him as a caucasian guy. That truth is, Jesus was Middle Eastern and would have been dark-skinned. Maybe not black exactly, but certainly not white either.

Of course, I suppose the religious nuts would say that, because he was fathered by the Holy Spirit, he was white as the driven snow. Everyone knows that the Holy Spirit is a white guy.

Is God? If god was before anything else existed he or she would have no parentage and therefore no race or ethnicity. God would also have existed with sexual reproduction so god would be without gender. To be understood by people god could "appear" to be black, jewish, or anything else god chose , Like a burning bush, or a dove or an earhtquake.

It's sort of silly to believe that an all-powerful, universal entity that is singular in it's existance should have any need for a physical body.

This is also why God wouldn't make much sense as a 'he'. After all, if there is no 'she' and only one God.. what is the use of genitalia if no procreation is possible?

Well, I suppose if God created man in his own image, and the first human beings were dark skinned and came out of Africa... I guess you could say that.

This is assuming, of course, that the god of the Judeo-Christian tradition is real (he's not).

But remember, "black" is a color, while "Black" is a synonym for "African American." There's a tremendous difference.

Depends on which God you are referring to. Jesus Christ was born in the middle east, thus his skin tone was probably darker than a person of European descent. Some people believe in multiple Gods or idols of non-human figures. I don't think you can categorize Gods are a color -- it's whatever you believe in. There's no wrong answer.

God is a force. Kinda like gravity. You can not see, touch or feel gravity but it keeps us grounded and we know it exists. Gravity has no color and neither does God. This is coming from a black person.

Yes he is black and he is also white ...........he is all that u see around ...he is all that you don't see around......He is there with in you and with out you......he exists in every atom that makes the earth. A glimpse of his energy can be seen by splitting the atom....the atomic energy......and at last color is an illusion and the color of an object depends on the light that the object reflects......and an object which absorbs all colors and reflect none will appear black ......so he is black ....he is also white...
