When you have people saying things like "I say kill em all before they destroy civilation." getting thumbs up against us. So even though it is a minority of muslims who kill, while the rest are still labelled as killers, there's people preaching hate towards us (the innocent ones) and that's ok?

First of all islam is a peaceful religion, it is some who ruin it for the rest. Secondly how can you generalise this behaviour to all muslims when you know they don't all do it. Thirdly, even if we WERE unpeaceful, would it not be hypocritical to act in the same way yet call us unpeaceful?

2 Wrongs don't make a right.

"Honesty? We see no signs of any Muslims trying to stop their terrorists members." - Why should we be blamed for other people's actions? Everyone must account for their own sins and actions, so why is not stopping them our problem, and how does it make us evil?

Please get my point with this question. It doesn't matter if you think Islam is peaceful or not. If you think it is unpeaceful, then is it not wrong to act in that unpeaceful way towards us?

"Plus you get angry at cartoons, burn buildings down and seem very uncivilised at times" - What do you mean "you". I did not do this, I did not agree with it, so how can you tell me that all muslims are not peaceful? Every muslim I know never agreed with any of this, so how can you tell me we all do?

"I mean right now you are saying we are all preaching hate against you, we may be innocent?" - I'm not saying that. I'm talking to those tho say islam is not peaceful and then make a violent statement, which to me seems hypocritical. I'm not talking to everyone non muslim. And People are still not answering my question. I'm not asking about what a minority of muslims do wrong. I'm asking how can the people who act violently call us these things when it is only a minority of muslims, and by acting violently they are doing the exact same thing.

To one of you: I'm actually from Iran and I have family who live in a christian area where there's churches and stuff, and they are treated with respect, no one bothers them even though it is not all christians living there.

Most of you people need to stop believing EVERYTHING you hear in the news.

Heya,

It is known that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. We need to be Objectives here, people who are converting to Islam are not poor or uneducated , they are Universities lecturer, doctors..etc. They are well educated people , who realized that life is not all about fun, sex, drinking...etc.

In Islam if you don't believe in Jesus , you are not a believer. They believe in Christianity even more than some Hhristain do.

It is the media , which brain washing those who don't read and analyse, those who take things on face value.
In Islam people great each other by saying Salam= Peace. They believe that who forgive will be rewarded.

Guys just think why when a muslim do something we make a big deal of it, while when a non muslim do we don't care.
For Example, That guy who killed many students in school USA
if he was a muslim , trust me we would be talking about it untill now.
Im not being subjective as much as i'm honest.

Just ask a pure Christain person from Palestain about Muslims now and in the past. They will tell you how under Islam they were free to practise they were save and loved.
Muslims ought to say peace be upon him when Jesus mentioned.

Thanks all,
Hannah

I agree many stereotypes abound and there seems to be alot of anti Muslim rhetoric. I think these opinions are formed somewhat by what we seeon tv. Som many times we are affronted with images of angry mobs in the streets chanting death to somebody. I don't think we stop to think of all the people who stayed home that day and just want to live their lives out with as little contrvercy as possible. I don't think we understand some aspects of thaat culture. Such as wanting people to be killed for insulting our prophets. as much as I don't agree with people who insult for fun I still tik they have a right to voice their opinion. My one problem I have is why so many of the Muslim countries don't want to give Israel any legitimate rights. I am not suggesting they all feel this way but seldom do you hear anyone showing them any support. On the contrary we only hear about wanting to wipe them off the face of the earth.

I think it is probably the ruthless and cruel way that notional Islamic rules are enforced. Afghanistan under the Taliban was stricter than Spain during the Inquisition. I accept that the current bout of fundamentalism does not reflect typical Muslim behaviour but the religion is extremely intolerant and subject to regular bouts of extremism. At the end of the nineteenth century, the Mahdi gained infamy for massed slaughtered during a conversion campaign which included the sacking of Khartoum and killing of General Gordon.
In quieter times I have travelled around Pakistan on bus and bicycle and found no apparent resentment to the West but it is only a fool that would do that nowadays. While I am very sympathetic to the plight of the Palestinians who are virtual prisoners in their own country, when Muslims want special privileges or exemptions from UK laws, I eagerly cheer the crowd calling for their expulsion or eradication.

I shall add some personal experience. I have been self employed in Suffolk for 12 years and during that time, to my knowledge I have given credit to only one Muslim customer. She stopped her cheque and I am having to issue proceedings for recovery of this debt. This represents 20% of my total bad debts for the twelve year period. If I refuse to accept Muslims as clients in the future or demand payment in advance, they will undoubedly play the race card. How can one deal with people who appear to delight in behaving in a way that is so foreign to the country in which they have chosen to live?

People in the United States have an either your with us or against us policy when it comes to a conflict, struggle, or fight.

So far all they seem to see is that Muslims are trying to kill us and other Muslims are complaining about their civil rights being violated.

Simple fact for those that believe the BS... Every terrorist was a Muslim from the Middle East, yet EVERYONE (regardless of age, sex, race or religion) is getting searched in the US so we don't religious profile and when Muslims are inconvenienced like the rest of us they make formal complaints instead of dealing with it.

So, you are either with us and you are American
or, you are against us and a terrorists sympathizer.

This is not my personal opinion, but rather the opinion of many I see and hear during my day. I am personally a conspiracy theorist and think differently. But I do think that Muslims are very simplistic and reactionary to contraversy. I think they need to be brought under like all the rest of the religious groups in the US.

If it gives you any rest - I hate only those who earn hate, not the group as a whole. As I've learned more and more about Islam, the more and more it parallels with any good peaceful religion in this world. I understand the minority is waging personal wars in the name of Allah, and those are the ones I hate. I have no problem with the rest, like you. The ones who "group hate" show their ignorance.

Why do we think Muslims are unpeaceful. Islam shows us each day how much they hate each day.

You have got to be kidding me. Just who do you think is doing all that suicide bombing all around the world, Buddhist or maybe Southern baptist?
Second of all, Islam is NOT a peaceful religion. Though I will concede that some Muslims are.
Resisting murdering Islamo-terrorist thugs is not a matter of two wrongs making a right. It's a matter of self defence.

I am Christian and I hear things so evil, I have to double take. I mean to say that an entire religion is evil or unpeaceful is stupid.

What really gets me is that the people who are saying this are doing the exact same thing that they claim the Muslims are doing.

May God be with all of them.

It's not just the suicide bombers, it's the fact that the main muslim countries in the middle east are such a state so you all come over here and start trying to change us.
Plus how do we know who the innocent ones are and who aren't, I mean right now you are saying we are all preaching hate against you, we may be innocent?
