Humans are unique in having the ability to hold two contradictory views as true at the same time, especially when it comes to religion.

Jesus does love us and so do our families. Just because one is a Christian doesn't mean we cannot have sickness and pain the same as you. We seek medical help like any other human being. God is the Divine healer, every time you get sick and recover, you can thank God for your healing. Pain and sickness are a part of this world and will be until Christ returns. Jesus never promised us an easy life, but He did promise to be with us always. That knowledge gives much comfort in times of distress.Have you ever been in a hospital room of a dying Christian? I have and the room is full of peace and comfort, you would have to experience this to fully understand what I am saying. To live is good, but to die is to go to Christ.

I am not a sciencetologist,Geez!!! We go to the doctor to, we just don't say oh I am in pain, no drugs, no help from the hosbital, like a sciencetologist and wish the pain away like Athiest think we can. We pray to, but that does not mean, everyone get healed. I have seen a cross-eyed guy get his eyes healed straight right before my eyes, but not everyone who goes thru a prayer line woill get healed. I would be lying if I said we all got healed 1000% of the time. Sometimes God uses the Doctors and sometimes we go tot eh hosbital and get healed there as a witness to the doctors and nurses and sometimes we get healed in church.

Some do, some don't. Sometimes you need something fixed quickly, so you go to a doctor. Sometimes a doctor can't fix what is wrong and prayer is the ultimate solution. Sometimes you can't pray because you are unconcious (auto accident, ect.).
Point in case, my wife was healed of cancer through prayer. Her gall bladder was eaten up with it, and when she went back to the doctor, it had all but disappeared. The next visit we hope will show that it is completely gone. Many are healed in this manner, but you are healed according to your faith. Many don't have the faith to rely on prayer.

Christians know that God has special people on this Earth to take care of all of us. Even you. They are called instruments of God. God's special helpers. I have worked in a hospital and I felt like I was doing God's work, by taking care of the medically needy. All humans are to take good care of their bodies. In the Bible it tells us to take care of our Temple's. That means our bodies. It is a sin , is we do not take care of our bodies. Yes, we are in God's hands. All Christians know that as well as the other cultures and religions. When we need our bodies stitched up after major injury, we go to to the Hospital. In Hospital's on our Loved ones death beds, families do gather and pray. We do all of that. Yes, Jesus Loves us and He Loves you too. Hospital's and Doctors work for Jesus. They are His helping hands.

FOR the same reason THAT YOU GO TO THE HOSPITAL!
(Matthew 9:12) But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
YOU have the Wrong IDEA OF GOD! Have you Ever read the Entire Bible? God reveals Himself = ONLY TO THOSE THAT WILL TRUST HIM!
Mockers of GOD, will never come to the TRUTH! But God is telling YOU to Repent, Acts 17:30-31!
Thanks, RR

This reminds me of a story I heard once about people that want to believe that God will DO EVERYTHING FOR THEM.
The story goes there once was a man that believed God would take care of him no matter what happened. One day a storm hit his town and the river started raising. The man climbed up to the second story of his house and was crying, "God where art thou, save me?" A few minutes later a man came by in a boat and told the man to jump in and he will save him. The man refused saying, "God will save me." The man in the boat left.
The waters started rising even more until the man had to climb on his roof. He again cried, "God where for art thou, save me? A few minutes later a helicopter came along and lowered a rope. The pilot told the man to climb the rope and he would save him. The man again said, "No thank you, God will save me?
The helicopter then left. The water rose even higher and washed the man off the roof and he drowned.
When he got to Heaven he asked God, "Where were you? I believed in you knowing you would save me.
God replied, "Where were you when I sent the boat, and the helicopter" I did send help.
Moral of the story is God will help but we have to be receptive to his voice. It may not be what we expect.

God made the herbs and chemicals that scientists use to make medicine. Also, Luke from the Bible was a doctor. Nothing is wrong with going to the hospital.

That is waht we should do first (to pray), but sometimes God uses doctors.
Luke, the writer of the gospel of Luke, and the book of Acts, was a doctor.

We do pray for healing and alot of times we get it. Don't forget who gave doctors the knowledge of healing and surgery. Jesus loves us and that is why there are people who that can do these things for us. I guess you haven't heard cases of people that couldn't be saved by a doctor and were prayed for and miraculously healed. This was the work of Jesus.
