Should Fundie Xians who don't believe in Evolution be allowed to benefit from the medical science that has resulted from the research of Evolution and genetics?

Since all of that is false teachings of the devil to them, Isn't that HUGELY hypocritcal of them?

talk2me : It's not nearly the same thing. compassion is compassion and it doesn't matter about faith.

What I'm saying is that if you believe that Evolution and thereby genetics are tools of the devil, and therefore go against the rules of your god, why would you ever WANT medicine that was based on those teachings?

talk2me : I'll try to clarify this via Personal message so that I don't get accused of Personal Communication and chatting, and you don't have to keep saying rude and untrue things about Atheists on here.

Good point. I know it's needed to state things that are a little over the top, to make a point. Very well stated.

Of course I agree with your point but disagree with your statement, because as an atheist I believe we should love all of humanity. We should educate them, even if it's frustrating as hell from time to time.

They benefit from gravity too, btw :)

a million) they are uneducated and easily are actually not conscious of the certainty that evolution has been shown previous a shadow of a doubt and is the two common with the aid of the medical community as gravity. 2) they are willfully ignorant and might desire to comprehend yet elect to not learn because of the fact they are brainwashed into believing that thinking the bible is incorrect and hence something that questions any area of the bible is inherently evil. 3) they are incapable of grasping the assumption of gradual replace over billions of years. 4) they are mendacity and definitely comprehend that evolution is a certainty yet only like arguing lots they take the stance which would be argued with the main. you comprehend, like the human beings who HATE all the massive Hollywood funds makers and declare that there renowned movies are strange, low budget Indi movies that no one has heard of.

Hypocrits all of them sorry are we talking about christians or everyone?

Evolution is like revolution one goes one to another - the other goes round and round.

Medical science is brilliant but it is still in the evolution stage so that applies to everyone believers or not. There will always be cults and people who contridict them selves.

have fun with the answers

Believing that man didnt evolve from Apes doesnt discount medical science, just the assumption that man came from Apes, thats it. There isnt a single medicine or treatment that revolves around man having come from Apes. But, if you like to play that way, since Atheists dont believe in God, its terribly hypocritical of them to take days off from work, since that is a concept first started in the Bible ;)

There have always been physicians - one of the disciples was a physician. What has the fact that medical science exists have to do with the Fundamentalists belief in creation. Could there be no medical advance under this belief. Do you think this belief precludes genetics?? Sounds like more insane reasoning to me.

That's like asking if only the Christians in New Orleans should have benefited from the Christian aide that was given to help. Pretty small minded, isn't it?

EDIT:

Bad Liberal

Yup, yer name suits ya, Honey!

EDIT:

Obviously compassion is defined as YOU see fit. That's the difference between Christians and atheists. We believe in helping EVERYONE!

EDIT:

Yes, Bad liberal, you've got it all covered when it comes to wit! That was pretty witty, your little joke about sending all the "fundies" into Indonesia without masks! Very witty, indeed, and not at ALL insulting!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bad liberal; funny how you can't accept responsibility for your own insulting words. I did not mention anyone was going to hell, nor will I accept responsibility for something anyone else says or does. I was merely pointing out that YOU were being heartless and insulting as is evidenced by your above statements.
----------------------

VERY Evident how little you care darling; and how your burning hatred shines through! I dare say, there is only one of us that is a hate monger, and it isn't ME!

Peace anyway.

Medical science has a responsibility to all people who need and seek care. Isn't that part of the Hippocratic Oath?

Most Christian scientists understand and study genetics. It is when something like a murdered child (in a womb) is used for stem cell research that they draw the line. Christians are not against science, but against immoral science. Evolution is a religion. If creationism had been taught in its place, genetics would be leaps and bounds ahead.

Fundie Xtians who don't believe in evolution owe it to the rest of humanity to be at the front line of combatting bird flu, because since they don't believe in evolution, they're obviously immune from the viruses evolution creates. Send them into Indonesian chicken farms unmasked to clear out the dead birds!

===

lookn2cjc, that would be one of the least witty insults anyone had ever pointed at me even if it had been the first time I'd heard it. We CHOOSE our screen names, you know!

Nope, not at all insulting, I'm sure you're ferociously opposed to those who tell others *in all seriousness* that they'll burn in hell for all eternity.

I can't believe you'd come back to read this but... I take responsibility for everything I post - I don't CARE if you find it insulting. I believe that fundies will NOT be exposed to bird flu, for anything I say. Fundies believe that I WILL go to hell, and I'm usually told in a tone of unmistakable satisfaction. Heartless schmartless. When Christians stop portraying themselves as the poor whiney little victims of everyone else's persecution when they are ACTUALLY the single most rich, powerful and unpleasantly intrusive group on the face of the planet, I'll worry about you being insulted. Until then - let me repeat - I - COULD - NOT - CARE - LESS.

(I am not a fundamentalist)

If you want to get into a polemic pissing match, then I guess you wouldn't be able to benefit from most of Public Education. Since it owes a debt of gratitude to Christianity in the West for its establishment and growth.
