hehehe! this is one of pet peeves with American Fundy Christians. they have such an overriding sense of entitlement that any time they run into the least opposition they consider their minor irritation to be "persecution".
you should try to understand their problem here, tho. Jesus said that his followers would be persecuted as he was so in order for American Christians to feel they are fulfilling that requirement of discipleship they must find something, anything by which to be persecuted. being teased on an Internet forum or in a chat room is really the best they can come up with since they're on the top of the social and political food chain in the good ol' USA.

I've yet to see one of these people be able to name someone they know personally who has been persecuted for being a Christian. About the best they can do is say that some disagreed (attacked?) with them on a web page. Or claim that in some third world country, Christians are persecuted there and it's usually a place that persecutes everyone. I have learned on thing about Christians and religious people: They can rationalize anything no matter how fantastic or illogical it is.

It would be funny if they were not so dangerous. America’s second President, John Adams, had them pegged accurately,
•“How has it happened that millions of myths, fables, legends and tales have been blended with Jewish and Christian fables and myths and have made them THE MOST BLOODY RELIGION THAT HAS EVER EXISTED? Filled with the sordid and detestable purposes of superstition and fraud?” (Letters to F.A. Van Der Kamp 1809-1816)
He also pointed out there preferred methods of dealing with nonbelievers, noting that only the law stopped them from exercising their blood-lust to "whip and crop, and pillory and roast" us.
Apparently, in Christianity, if people resist being tortured and giving their lives over totally to the Christian God – that is somehow an attack against Christianity and persecution of Christians. If they cannot impose they beliefs through the existing government, they have no problem advocating the destruction of the US Constitution – and if you object to their treason, that also is apparently persecution.
Radical Islam and fundamentalist Christianity are exactly the same. They share the same history, culture, and beliefs. Even the characters in their Holy books are the same, and Jerusalem is their shared Holy city.
They both worship a brutal and judgmental humanity-hating rape-torture-kill God whose preferred method of dealing with non-believers is genocide, preferably by torture, the ripping apart of limbs, and the whacking-off of heads.
Conservative Christians only hate Islamic terrorists because they are jealous of them. They are jealous that they live under the theocratic rule of their murdering SOB God, while Christians remain frustrated by the civilized and more developed secular democracies of the western nations.
Conservative Christians and Muslims hate the west for exactly the same reason;, and they both want to see the west, and especially the United States, destroyed, and they both want to see the secularists punished via the wrath of their hateful God.
We will never know if John Adams was right when he wrote,
•” This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no religion in it!”
because we likely we never find out.
But we do know that if the Christian religious-right gains control of America, then only terrorists will control the world.

Persecution: To be stricken consistently as a manner to injure or misery. delusion: A fake perception that persists psychotically. right this moment, constrained to North usa, i might think of that anybody who claims persecution, for regardless of reason, has some subjects. On a international extensive foundation at latest, approximately fifty 5,000 Christians are positioned to dying for his or her ideals in keeping with annum. For a CPD as you call it: have you ever wide-unfold standards for the try? Are you qualified to do the assessment? WouId you like and direct dedication to a company? I assemble out of your question which you're noticeably massive on your pajamas, so enable me ask you this. in case you have been qualified and might desire to dedicate for CPD, who might you commence with? perhaps the Christian massive game hunters? How approximately Christian policemen or members of the militia? perhaps a Christian businessman or female may well be greater on your flavor. do not forget approximately there are fairly some supremacist communities who declare to be Christians. of direction they are actually not under any delusion of persecution, so which you're secure there. you will possibly be able to desire to dedicate an previous female's Christian Sunday college type! Now there is are thought for you.

THANK YOU. Finally, someone said it. Sickening, isn't it?
My theory? It's an attempt to revitalize a dying faith. If you grew up with Christianity, like many people in America do, but haven't given religion much though in your adult life... you may percieve a threat to Christianity as a threat to the nostaligia of your own childhood.
Also, since 9/11 the government has worked very hard to make sure everyone feels afraid. Many people are terrified of the "something" that might happen at any moment. The Christians capitalize on this fear by adding to it the idea that the apocalypse is nigh.

well, my friend, it's not a delusion. have you read this page lately??? So many questions are aimed straight at the christians in attack! That sounds like persecution to me. It's kinda unfair, christianity has become about the mistakes made by the church and its followers instead of who it should really be about:Jesus Christ the son of God!The problem is not with the christians but with those who "claim" to be christians but hav no love in their hearts. Many christians are not persecuted but those who truly serve Him are persecuted. Trust me, i really know what I'm talking about.

Are you talking about the United States ? Or Christians over the world in general ? If you are talking about the US, I can't answer, because I don't live there.
If you are saying that Christians in general are not being persecuted,I don't think you're right.Over 160,000 Christians are martyred each year simply beause of their beliefs.

It's no delusion. And Christians are giving their life for the Gospel sake today in other countries. Some Christians get murdered in US too for their faith but it is against the law.

They won't be happy until they're living in a christian nation, and we're all forced by law to live according to their beliefs. Anything less seems like persecution to them.
