If god doesnt exist then how do you? Is it because you cant see him? Well you cant see your brain... does that mean it doesnt exist. Had you rather spend your whole life beliving in something that turned out not to be real or live your life not beliving and god be real then have to answer to the way you lived your life.

or do they believe in god so that they think to go to heaven when they die. That is to say, the only reason they beleive in god is so they are protected. Is that really ethical.

Jesus is the sun of god?
"Christ. The sun and the history of sun,is the history of Jesus on the 25th December, the birthday of Jesus Christ.
The first and greatest of the labors of Jesus Christ is his victory over the serpent, the evil principle,or the devil. In his first labor Hercules strangled the serpent,as did Krishna,Bacchus, etc. He is the sun triumphing over the power of hell and darkness,as he increased,he prevail, till he is crucified in the heaven,or is deccusated in the form of a cross(according to Justin Martyr)when he passes the equator of the vernal equinox(ibid,pg,200)
In reading the new testament we must cease to think of the man Jesus, and even the sun of god,and think of him rather the sun of god,for this is a solar myth, and its dying hero,a dying sun".(Llyod Graham,The deception and myth of the Bible,pg 316).

Pastors and Ministers realized that religion was getting a bad reputation. To keep the money coming in, they simply lied about the meaning of religion to fool the masses.

She hears her heart pumping tonight
But, the pace is incorrect
Searching and scavenging to fill the void
The hands stretch far but it’s never enough
Still her heart pumps

One out of billions in the world
Making a difference in the world is her goal
Doubt and uncertainty pass her mind
She is me
Still my heart pumps

Waiting for miracles
Expecting failure
A lost soul needs to find the light
Light hails from far
Until then I smile on the outside
While my heart pumps slower day by day
The Mind is winning over my body
Yet, my heart pumps

Do you accept all what is written in the Holy Books (the OT and the NT) as a dogma, an axiom that does not require a proof, or in other words, do you accept what is written in these books literally? Or, alternatively, do you believe (or at least admit the possibility) that the Holy Books are essentially collections of metaphors and hyperboles that were meant to teach the readers certain lessons rather than to provide the exact account of historic events?

The latter choice makes a lot more sense to me personally, though I guess I cannot call myself a good Christian.

Did Jesus say everything John says he said?
John 14:9 Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.
John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life.
John 8:12 I am the light of the world.
John 8:58 Before Abraham was, I am.
John 10:7 I am the door of the sheep.
John 11:25 I am the resurrection, and the life.
John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life.
John 15:1 I am the true vine.
Christian scholars tell us that if Jesus had made all these fantastic claims about himself, the first three gospels would surely have recorded them. Mark was written around 70 C.E., followed by Matthew and Luke somewhere between 80-90 C.E. John, written around 100 C.E., was the last of the four canonized gospels. The Christian scholar James Dunn writes in his book The Evidence for Jesus:

Sura 6:115 The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all.
Sura 29:46 "And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one;
If 29:46 is true your God is my God.
If 6:115 is true his word can not be changed
For those that say 6:115 only applies to the Qu'ran read the context of chapter 6 and also understand youa re saying that the Torah and Gospel were never the word of God which contradicts the Qu'ran.

I believe, and its pretty much documented, that we all share the same one God. Don't you all think its silly that we all fight over Him like jealous siblings? I be He would prefer if we all got along, even just for His sake dont you?
