Why Christians worshipped sun of god?

Jesus is the sun of god?
"Christ.The sun and the history of sun,is the history of Jesus on the 25th December,the birthday of Jesus Christ.

They dont follow what Jesus really said. Jesus really said he is only a Prophet of God, and nothing else to God in anyways. Also he says that Muhammad pbuh comes after him, and before him are many messengers.
