Works for me. Africa has been seeing healings of aids all over Africa.
Maybe if we did like the Bible said "If my people which are called by my name shall humble themself and seek my face then shall I hear from heaven and heal their lands."
Get out of Gods way and let Him heal our lands.<><

we who believe in prayer will be praying that God uses the scientists to find a cure for AIDS. God uses people to do His work. People are created to glorify God and help other people. IF people really prayed who knows what people could accomplish.

Or we can keep up the scientific research and you guys can pray that they find a cure. I doubt one is just going to pop up out of nowhere just because you pray for it. So to answer the second question, it would never happen if the research was stopped.

As long as all medical research and not one is singled out because you have an agenda..............you might be very surprised when you get to the pearly gates and Jesus asks how you could refuse compassion and assistance to one group of god creatures....
I do think your going to spend you after life with neck looking upwards in the after life ......and not totally understand why you were denied entrance......i feel sorry you do not have the spirit of love and compassion for you fellow humans taught in the bible.

Of course, no one would go for that. Even if a saint has AIDS he'll still want his medication. No matter how strong someone's faith is, barring a mental illness, it will always be outweighed by the desire to live.

Praying for a cure is great.
Specificially, it's great to pray that medical scientists use their God-given intellect and talents in order to find a cure.
Such intellect and talents are blessings from God. Without them, no cure for any disease would be possible.

Your question is not valid because the bible teaches that faith without works is dead.
SO, if God gives us science then that would be equal to works in my book and we should have faith that God will work with us for a favorable solution.
Although I believe that miracles are possible and do happen, I believe that the integration of faith and works is viable as well.

God created scientists....let them use the gifts that God gave them, and lets pray that the gifts God gave them will help them find a cure for AIDS.

The first thing that will happen when you pray is that God will tell you to keep his commandments and that will eliminate aids. That will mean No sex outside of your marriage and no homosexual sex. Doing both of those will eventually eliminate aids..

Yeah, let's shut it down, it's not getting anywhere, the common cold evolves and apparently so does HIV and if you can't handle the common cold what's going to be done for AIDS? Please, Mother Nature is all that is needed
