Most people hold a reasonable respect for religion. The Constitution and Bill of Rights are based on Christan principles, as are most of our laws.

Religious beliefs have been influencing politics for very long time. As with everything, it must be tempered with common sense. Both religious zealotry and atheism can be equally harmful in politics.

My non secular ideals influence my social existence of direction, as I %. and choose what type of events I take section in and what type of folk I go mutually with. Political and criminal would not have a factor to do with my non secular ideals. Politically, i decide for who's superb in place of work to maintain a roof over my head. something of the matters all human beings else can combat over because of the fact that i don't have faith in something they say besides. i've got faith the comparable with with criminal. Yes they do.

I don't have a problem with the politician belonging to a religion and believing in God.

I do have a problem when he applies those beliefs to how he runs the government.

I strongly support separation of church and state.

My belief in God permeates most everything I do - so yes - I will prayerfully consider how I will vote in any given election.

Only if you count the fact that I do not believe that MuRdEr is "OK" and I consider AbOrTiOn to be murder! I vote primarily for the PERSON not the PARTY. Have a great evening.

Yes, I am immediately suspicious of anyone who flaunts their religion. And so far, that's proven a very good barometer. To wit, George W. Bush.

Yes, if the candidate is too religious i know he's part nut-case and i won't vote for him.

absolutely! I won't vote for anyone who can't see past his/her own views. I find that sort of narrow-mindedness very frightening - history repeats itself far too often in that category.
