According to the NAS, intelligent design is not science because it cannot be tested by the scientific method. Intelligent design does “not offer hypotheses that are subject to change in light of new data, new interpretations, or demonstrations of error.” Rather, the concept makes observable data inferior to doctrine. Intelligent design reverses the scientific process by setting forth an assumed conclusion — an intelligent designer is responsible for the universe — and only seeking evidence in support of this conclusion. In contrast, a scientific theory “always remains subject to the possibility of rejection or modification in light of new knowledge.”

What do you think?

WHY WHY WHY THE HELL DO PEOPLE HAVE TO MEDDLE???
i pray that one day all religions will get along :) That is my dream. I seek for tolerance and understanding of my neighbors. But I can not understand why such a friendship is being condemed by society?

OK, you dont believe in God;Do you agree that you have a spirit?
A part of you that will go on to eternity?

If the answer is Yes,how then do you justify not believing in God when the only two choices are believe in God and be with Him in paradise or not believe and be tortured by Satan?

if you are one of those people who believe Jesus was God... Why would God's physical body have reproductive organs? How sure are we that Jesus was a man?

the (hijab?? sorry, sp) out of choice and respect for themselves and not because their culture forces them to out of possessiveness? I was always taught the latter, basically, and read something recently that someone posted that made me think I had been taught wrong.

I am sorry if this question offends anyone. It is truly not my intent to offend, but to gain knowledge and to correct any wrong ideas I may have. (I know I often come across offensively in my questions and I never intend to)

They said, 'hello, nice day isn't it?'
I said,' Oh yes, what a lovely day it is.'
Then they said,' Where here with a message from the Lord God Jehovah!"
And I said, I'm sorry but I'm an atheist.'
And guess what?
I got handed a violation notice!
Who thinks this is fair?

If science is on its way to discovering our world, why do people still believe in creation? Why do people still believe in higher powers, something that can control us? Are people really that weak?

1) Unless that non-Catholic is thinking about becoming a priest, why would they even care.

2) If they want to know out of pure curiosity, why don't they do a poll of the priests who voluntarily gave their life to be married to Christ's bride, the Church, and then find out the reasons that the Church gives for her teachings on priestly celibacy?

The Catechism of the Catholic Church gives very reasonable explanations for the questions that most people ask about the Catholic faith.
