No The prophet Salla Aalihi was salem was illiterate. He was from a society that memorised every kind of knowledge. That being beduin. They had a tribal society which travelled and so could not carry books . moreover paper was not invented. There were not trees to make paper either! They had sheep skin and palm fiber. So when there are no trees (comeing your way soon earth people) The last resort will be memorisation.
The prophet, peace be upon him , was visited by an angel who told him to recite and the words were put into his mind by God. So the Qur'an was dictated by him orally to various persons and they wrote it on materials none of which were paper. All the early followers memorised the words in Arabic as they heard it and it was spread that way person to person before it was written. We do not say he wrote it . We say Allah wrote it he just received it - as a sign of Allah's mercy on the humans. I trust Allah because he did this before with the other messengers: The O.T. Prophets and Issa , peace be upon all of them. They have CRED with me.

The Qu'ran was spoken by Muhammad and written as He spoke it by His followers. It was compiled after He died, but no, He didn't write it.
To the second question: Half the world's population declares their faith in the Bible, which wasn't written by Jesus, or even dictated by Him. All the books of the Bible are, at best, second or third hand accounts of the teachings and actions of Jesus. In Hinduism, the scripture is mostly stories, the authors of which are largely unknown, as is the case with pretty much all other religions (probably since Islam is among the youngest). It doesn't need to be written by the founder, as long as people see in it a spiritual truth, something that speaks to their soul (there are other, less noble reasons for faith, but I don't care about those).

The theory that Muhummad (pbuh) authored the Qur’an or copied from other sources can be disproved by the single historical fact that he was illiterate.
Allah testifies Himself in the Qur’an
In Surah Al-Ankabut chapter no.29 verse 48
"And thou was not (able) to recite a Book before this (Book came), nor art thou (able) to transcribe it with thy right hand: in that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted."
[Al-Qur’an 29:48]
Allah (swt) knew that many would doubt the authenticity of the Qur’an and would ascribe it to Prophet Muhummad (pbuh). Therefore Allah in His Divine Wisdom chose the last and final Messenger to be an ‘Ummi’, i.e. unlettered, so that the talkers of vanity would not then have the slightest justification to doubt the Prophet. The accusation of his enemies that he had copied the Qur’an from other sources and rehashed it all in a beautiful language might have carried some weight, but even this flimsy pretence has been deprived to the unbeliever and the cynic.
Allah reconfirms in the Qur’an in Surah Al A’raf chapter 7 verse 157:
"Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (Scriptures) in the Law and the Gospel"
The prophecy of coming of the unlettered Prophet (pbuh) is also mentioned in the Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12.
"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned."
[Isaiah 29:12]
The Qur’an testifies in no less than four different places that the Prophet (pbuh) was illiterate. It is also mentioned in Surah A’raf chapter 7 verse 158 and in Surah Al-Jumu’a chapter 62 verse 2.
BTW - we DO believe tht the Bible is da word of God BUT we also believe da der r sum man made changes in it so we cant trust it howeva dis cant be said abt da holy Quran

No. It was reveled to Muhammad (PBUH) by the Archangel Gabriel, memorized by his followers during his lifetime, and later compiled and organized into the Qur'anic form you see today.
There are no human words added to the Qur'anic text.
The Hadith is a collection of the actions and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as witness by his companions, friends and closest relatives, including his wives.
If you read a little history about it, there is nothing that you can say or do today that was not said or done by the unbelievers during his lifetime. They accused him of inventing it, being mad or crazy, possessed by a demon...etc. But the question still remains, why did he not glorify himself and command people to pray to him as a God, if he had gone through all this trouble by himself. Wouldn't you think that he would've at least forced people to focus on him more than God if he had invented it?
Peace and Blessings be Upon him and his wives, his family and his companions.
