A while ago, I was trolling about the love of Satan. The premise of that [which I beleive to be true symbolically, in the Christian ideology, not mine. Mine's a lot different.] Satan promoted freedom for humanity, in that he gave them the knowledge they truly had little say in their lives.

Anyway, one answer I got was "Free? Yeah right, when Jesus comes back, see how free it is!" Or some paraphrase.

So I need to ask, how can you view it that way? You might as well say that you don't think democracy [Do not debate on this, please] is free, because it will eventually fall to a more socialist regime [It happens.]

Essentially- It is not freedom, because someone else wil ltake it away

Is it to attempt to disprove something that you know is true but are afraid to face? By the way, God doesn't believe in atheists.

I have no doubt they are guilty of emotional child abuse: my main interest is whether sexual abuse charges would stick. The main psychological and forensic features of child sexual abuse are:

The perpetrator abuses a position of trust or seniority with respect to the child.

The perpetrator takes advantage of the child’s naivety and vulnerability.

The perpetrator is primarily concerned with his own sexuality agenda and rides roughshod over the child’s developmental needs

The perpetrator is motivated by a deep seated need to validate his own twisted view of sexuality, and lacks insight into the psychological damage his abuse of power has on his victim.

The abuse can have wide ranging effects on the child’s development of a healthy sexual identity.

I’d say, given the immense harm these people do, 10 years minimum, and lifetime on the sex offenders register. What do you think?

I could be wrong, but it seems like when a priest gets accused of molesting someone the church does all that they can to sweep it under the rug. I remember when the first major case broke about 6 years ago, instead of the guy going to trial and getting put behind bars, the vatican bribed his way out of it. Now if you or i were to molest a kid we would be in prison faster than you can say "hail mary". I dont keep close track of these things but has a clergymen ever had to do actual prison time for his crime?

For example, do theists (yes that is most of you) think that notion that the next cognizant beings may be currently a bacteria living in a star fishes’ digestive system is a ludicrous idea? That those bacteria will learn from the regenerative properties of its host and eventually rule the solar system?

Do u not agree that it is easier for people that suffer or have obstacles in their lives to have a stronger faith in god than sum1 that has no obstacles or hardships in their lives?
I went on a mission trip to a poor part of the world. There with fellow team members we quietly brought people to christ. However when i try at skool with my frends they ignore it and argue.
Also i know sum1 that has knocked on deaths doorstep and yet their faith in god is stronger than mine.

I just read a question [I also watched a documentary onCreationism today], and I have a large nit pick.

Why do Fundamentalists get the idea wrong? Why in their minds does evolution deal with things that are not species, such as stars, the universe, and life [As in origin of it]? Is there a specific reason beyond "Stupid?"

Also, please note, I am a pagan-type, but I do accept the theory of evolution as scientifically sound, as well as physically true [I cannot see the unformed existence as caring about existence], so please do not say it's religion in and of it's self. Many religions co-exist with it.

Thanks.
