A while ago, I was trolling about the love of Satan. The premise of that [which I beleive to be true symbolically, in the Christian ideology, not mine. Mine's a lot different.] Satan promoted freedom for humanity, in that he gave them the knowledge they truly had little say in their lives.

Anyway, one answer I got was "Free? Yeah right, when Jesus comes back, see how free it is!" Or some paraphrase.

So I need to ask, how can you view it that way? You might as well say that you don't think democracy [Do not debate on this, please] is free, because it will eventually fall to a more socialist regime [It happens.]

Essentially- It is not freedom, because someone else wil ltake it away

"Except est from that tree"

As an ancient time, there would be nothing to do except eat and sleep, and have sex.

New ruler is different from the guy who will eventually rule. It has not happened yet.

Dimplsem, I'd like to know if you passed grade 4. You apparently missed my parenthetical note.

And if so, how did you pass? I thought I went through a very lax system.

Their premise is that knowledge is a bad thing, somehow it's dirty or dangerous. I'd personally choose knowledge over self-righteous purity and comfort or safety if this was the case. 100's of years ago, people believed that they would be eaten by sea-monsters if they sailed into certain areas of the ocean, later we timidly explored these areas and discovered there were no sea-monsters, now noone believes in sea-monsters. Has this knowledge cheapened humanity somehow? Or are we better for this knowledge? Would you rather be held back from the truth by sea-monsters?

Hmmm seeing that according to ALL of the worlds religions, EVERYONE is going to hell. The christians think that the Jews and Muslims are hellbound and those two groups think likewise of the Christians. So if you are a believer (which I am not) then logic dictates that you should love your new ruler... Thus lessening your horrendous fate.

Democracy is not free, study your history ,many have paid for it with their lives because they believed in it .Christianity is the same Jesus paid for it with his life so we could have eternal life! Satan did what he did in the garden of Eden not to give freedom but to insure that he will have company in hell....

Reading your question I came away wondering if the feeling you're talking about Christians having is confusion. Certain Christians may be confused because of evil but God will give them peace when they turn to him with their whole hearts, minds, and souls.

Satan did not promote freedom, Satan corrupted it.

When Adam was placed in the garden of Eden, Adam was free. Free to do anything, except to kill himself. Too bad, Satan told him THAT was freedom.

Are you another Adam?

If you care to, read the Gnostic Creation texts ... they provide quite a counterpoint to Genesis. Much more like the way you think.

it is precisely because i am a Christian that i know that satan has no love for us to do good. satan only loves us in a bad way. like, he would love to see u burn in hell, suffer for all eternity. tat kind of "love", is a selfish and evil feeling, not agape love.

yeah it is silly to say you should love jesus because if you don't then he will punish you when he returns

that is no basis for religion or real love.

and to worry about what might happen when you die, is no way to live.
