Do u not agree that it is easier for people that suffer or have obstacles in their lives to have a stronger faith in god than sum1 that has no obstacles or hardships in their lives?
I went on a mission trip to a poor part of the world. There with fellow team members we quietly brought people to christ. However when i try at skool with my frends they ignore it and argue.
Also i know sum1 that has knocked on deaths doorstep and yet their faith in god is stronger than mine.

So many times when we as Christians go through the valleys we look to Christ for our strength. Yet, we have confidence in our selves when we are on the mountaintop. In gaining wisdom and maturity as we grow in our faith, we realize that without our faith we would not be able to even stand on the mountaintop, and that even our hardest trials can be mountaintop experiences because we recognize them for what they are, growing periods. Our faith will carry us through to the other side. Like Paul said, we need to learn to be content in all things, being rich, poor, sick, and healthy.

I don't think that it is the hardships that bring those people to Christ I think it is they are purer of mind and soul than most Americans are, Someone in another country does not have the same obstacles in the way that Americans do because their lives are very different from ours and their cultures are very different than ours so it is easier for them to accept something that most skeptical Americans cannot because they are blinded from the truth ,as far as your friend who has knocked on deaths doorstep and has great Faith, That is what being a Christian is all about for us death holds no fear because life after death will be so much sweeter!!!!

TYPE CORRECTLY!

(and im an atheist)

basically what youve just said is that its easier to convert someone if theyre desperate than someone who isnt. thats a horrible thing. obviously some people, especially if theyre desperate, are more likely to do things.

because you have some fat on you they may see you as more superior or in a higher position.

i dont understand this...here these people are poor...and instead of food or necessities you bring religion? so not only will they remain poor but now theyll have a horrible feeling that theyre constantly doing something wrong and will be tortured fro all of eternity for it?

what is wrong with you people?!?!?! dont you see what you do? dont you think before you do something?

jesus freakin' christ! what the hell is wrong with you!

Its people choice to do what they want. I used to get so frustrated when people just wouldnt listen to what i had to say about christ. It was the only thing in my life that made sense.
later i found out that christianity is not the center of the universe... and people have a choice to accept that or not.
I wont push my religion on you, and u dont believe in my religion, and im perfectly fine with that. Im not right, and neither are you.
Just respect their feelings...

In my 30 years on earth, one of many things I have learned is, there are happy Christians and misserable ones, happy atheists and misserable ones. I dont think happiness or trials are dependant on someones faith or lack there of. Sometimes people have a really bad time in life and give up God too.

Yes, I agree. We are spoiled by having things to easy and therefore they relie on their own power until it is critical and sometimes to late.

We must be convinced that we are a sinner (Romans 3:23) and the Holy Ghost conviction is so strong that they smell the brimstone burning before they pay attention.

The person that endures shows themselves approved. Prodigal son? Obstacles come in different flavors so they could be extreme to some while easy written off to other.

I think it doesn't matter how hard a persons life is. It is how hard a person tries. Although God gives us trials to make us stronger, he only gives us trials we can handle. Perhaps the trials aren't what makes the person strong. Maybe the trials are given to them because their faith is strong and they can handle it. Just a thought- I won't claim to know why things happen; it is just my oppinion.

huked on fonix werkd 4 me!

No, I don't agree. I think it's easier for the poorly educated to accept your christ. Which is why you don't have the same success at "skool". And your proficiency with English rather accentuates the point for me.

I also believe is that it's bloody evil to offer starving people food or help...but only if they accept your religion.
