I was in the church as a child. Left the church because nothing seemed real.

1 yr 3 months ago, I found myself in a scenario where I asked God if he was really there. Suddenly a spirit swept over me that gave me more adrenaline than the jetskis I was riding hours before. I gave my life to Christ the following day.

Since then, I have lived the journey of getting to know God and always surprized when I find out something else.

Our God is an Awesome God!

Everytime I apply what my philosophy prof taught me: Ask questions until there aren't anymore. My conclusion was that we are all animals with no point, or that God must exist. Science changes all the time, and can only explain how God works. No law of science proves that God did not exist. Even the big bang theory notes that something had to set off this spontaneous reaction. Take you pick: God or natures ?

Um... 9 I think.

I never BELIEVED - never turned to theism... but I was smart enough to question the idea that God was a male with no wife and yet had a son from a virgin woman.

The whole story was so ridiculous to me. I really just didn't care though. My mind was preoccupied with, unfortunately, believing in Santa Claus. I quickly grew out of that and learned more about my atheism which strengthens all the time.

I knew about God since I was a little kid. But I did not get to know God personally until I gave my life to Him when I was a little bit older.
You see a person can know about God but it is another thing to know God personally!
