The cosmos is profoundly large and dynamic, 4 billion suns exploding outwards into infinity, an orderly chaos of atom smashing reconstruction on a grand scale. The energy that connects all is minute but ever present. Conscousness is a struggle with this cosmic soup, we only know ourselves, our dreams and our fantasys.Like the fantasy of an old man and his plans and work shops even though all around us chaos rules, flying through space in a grand explosion. The quiet god idea is more like mold or slime in comparison to whats actually happing.
Can anyone understand my idea of spirituality, my connectedness to the big cosmic soup?

Is it chance that produces the results of a coin toss, or laws of weight, velocity, time, and force of gravity and no chance at all?
Does a chance then describe nothing?
If you have a chance meeting, that means it was unplanned not without cause, for although it was unplanned and unexpected, it still happened because it had a cause, just not a cause that you knew of or had any part in.
The cause was because your friend was there and you were there, and you were both there for various reasons or causes. The meeting was caused by these separate independent factors.
So if I say I met my friend by chance, what am I really saying?
Answer, that I ran into him unexpectedly.
So if I say as some are in the habit of saying, the Universe was created by chance, what does that really mean? Am I saying the universe was created by unexpectedly? If Chance is a description then it is an adjective and not a noun. Can an adjective be a cause of anything? Then, can chance be a cause of anything?

that fighting or arguing about which religion or belief or lack there of is pointless? the believer believes with all his heart that he/she is right and the non believer also believes just as strongly that he/she is is also right. so i guess my real question is why all of the negitive comments to one another? if we can't have civil conversations with each other than why not just leave each other alone? wouldn't this be much easier?

I have heard that it specifically commands this in several places, and that if you are a fundamentalist muslim, you would have to agree with this. I saw an interview with the king of Saudi Arabia and he agreed that this was true, but that most do not choose to take things to these extreems.

I know that many Christians (and some Muslims I know as well) have no problem at all with homosexuality, and I'm not posing the question at them.

I'm also not arguing that all sexual behaviour is good, or non abusive. Clearly some is, both heterosexual and homosexual. But I'm just wondering about how you can make a moral judgement about a sexual act purely on the basis of the gender of the participants. Is this simply because of proscriptions in holy texts, or are there other reasons?

For example in both Satanism and Christianity it is wrong and considered a sin to have sex with Animals, and Children. (I think in christianity it says its wrong to have sex with children, however I am not sure, but it is indeed a sin in Satanism.)

If you believe in one, then you really have to believe in the other, not follow, but believe in. So Where do you go if you cannot go to heaven or hell because you commited a sin against both God and Lucefer?

Studies done by the University of Michigan, and featured on the Discovery Channel program, The Amazing Life of the Human Brain, shows that our brains have this capacity. It is based on the average development of synaptic connectors compared to the available room for them. What use would this be if man (and woman) was not meant to live on Earth forever?
