My misguided fellow human,
And what is the matter with you that you believe not in Allah! While the Messenger invites you to believe in your Lord; and He has indeed taken your covenant, if you are real believers) [57:8]. A Hadith states that one day, the Prophet said to his Companions,
("Who among the faithful believers do you consider has the most amazing faith'' They said, "The angels.'' He said, "Why would they not believe, since they are with their Lord'' They mentioned the Prophets, and the Prophet said, "Why would they not believe while the revelation is sent down to them'' They said, "Then, we are.'' He said, "Why would not you believe when I am among you'' They asked, "Who has the most amazing faith'' The Prophet said, "A people who will come after you and who will find only books that they will believe in.'')

No wrong sorry. Because according to the texts God had them killed, the men didn't just kill people because they felt like it, they just pick somebody to kill. Indeed that would need to be justified. But this all hinges on belief in God, not in the killings. Because we all know that killings take place and some we think more just than others.
You cannot use the killings to prove the bible or Moses were unjust, because they were done in the name of justice, so to defend the same thing. You are both seeking justice, you and Moses, so if you are a defender of justice then you will agree with the destruction., if that was justice. Unless you want injustice? Are you assuming what justice is in general, are you telling me that was injustice? Do you know what justice is in all cases both future and past? Or do you prefer saving life to justice? What gives you the right ? The mystery is what is justice, what if you find out that justice meant killing those people, will you still love justice?
If you say no, that you love the life even of the guilty more than the pursuit of justice, then you show that you are not a seeker of justice, but something else really. Because how do you know justice will come out on your side? especially if what you seek is not justice but sparing life. Now why is it that you think you have some ground to stand on?
Let us see. you complain of Moses and the killings in the name of justice or what is right, you yourself not knowing what is right, but assuming it. Now we know Moses sought to follow God and justice. Based on these two preliminary factors we canat least say you both want justice or what is right, but Moses found it to be somehting you do not, and you think it to be something that Moses did not. So you lay a charge against him, in your own name. Now in order to do this you must be assuming that you know it is all wrong, the bible ,moses , the killing, etc. So on what do you base that assumption? the killing itself? So you are using the bible which teaches justice, and the killings which are an example of justice measured out by God,in the bible, to prove itslef wrong? How is that? That is like saying , look this book is wrong, because the book is wrong? Or else you want me to believe in you, but I don't believe in you? The fact that humans can come to different conclusions about the same things is evidenced by the fact that I come to a different conclusion than you, so can I use my conclusion to prove you wrong? Or ouy rown version of justice to prove you wrong? Tha twould only be assuming mine is right.
So why is it that you think you have any ground to stand on? Just go your merry unbelieving way and we will meet agian at the judgement.
Evaluate the sins of the modern world that they think they are excused from because they do not kill, but love the guilty, more than justice, because they love themselves and their sins, of course they do not like such judgement, that would be to hate themsleves.
Just look at what the world is turning into an dyou will see the true colors of its valuation of justice, they do not love justice but sin and they do not hate sin but justice. What is it to let the guilty go? But injustice.
If all those people were indeed innocent then that would be injustice but even Moses knows that. Why are yo assuming that they were innocent when the bible says they were gulity. If the bible said they were innocent and taught that it was ok to murder innocent people the it would give you the case you want, but it condemns the guilty, so it is just.
You exonerate the guilty and condemn the innocent. The killing does not determine who is guilty, but guilt determines who is killed in that case.
The New Testament and Jesus taught different for a reason so I am sure you do not find fault with them.
If it i swrong to kill period, how will God judge the world one day, you must make room my friend for God.

I don't call anyone in the Bible holy except Jesus. Moses was a sinner, Noah was a sinner, David was certainly a sinner, Paul sinned........ None of those men are holy or deserve worship of any kind. Only Jesus does.

I think the general idea is to look past those aspects and teach the good things. What is gained from preaching that someone who had pretty positive ideas in one area had a load of bad ideas in another area? Teaching that they killed to get a point across just leads to fanaticism.

why is it we focus on the actions of those long dead. Would our time be better spent on the people and acts of today?
So ask yourself, am I holy? and if not why?
