The creation of the world/ the universe is an art of God. GOD felt the urge for self expression and he did so/ or created the world.
The first step of the painter is to draw the lines. He then arranges them in such a way that they take a shape. The original shape of the lines lost into the shape that emerged out of these lines. Things passed through the stages of arrangements and rearrangements. And came this world what we see today.

God created the world because He is bored, He wanted to do something with all the powers He have. And when he created the world..that's when He started to have a plan.

There is no God that created anything. It's called Evolution. The more people believe in a God who created anything, the more confused they are going to get.
Think about it.... 7 days.... and "HE" (?) whipped this up with some magic wand or something?
And where did "HE" come from? answer THAT question... where was this "God" creature anyways when he was thinking he should create a universe?
He just "was"? I don't think so...

I always like to go to the classical reason, that He created the world for Humans to enjoy. But on the other hand why did he create humans in the first place, i would say that even humans like to create something new, that they can feel proud of , love and treasure. I believe that God created humans for the same reason, with an extra factor that He expects Humans to love him back and be proud of Him as their creator.

The essence of God is to create. He alone can make something out of nothing. He was expressing his essence.
Jesus is the brightness of God's glory and the express image of his person. The world was created by him. Those who believe in him are his people.
He created the world to gather a people unto himself.
Psalm 95:7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

I just pretty much answered this in my last answer, but I'll repeat it: God was lonely. He created us to be his companions, with complete intention for us never to know suffering. Some think that we chose to invent God, but in reality, we chose to reject Him. All the suffering on the planet was caused by that choice. If we were able to see all the pain that would be on the Earth should God turn away for a mere 60 seconds, we would realize what a big part He has in keeping our race from being destroyed in chaos TO THIS DAY. Of course, then we would hate Him for temporarily abandoning us.

I believe that goes back to the Devil, God was having problems in heaven because of him and some followers, so he created the world where we were to be born of woman and forget our memories of heaven and of him, and to find out way back into heaven through loving and believing in him. He did tell Esau and a few others that he knew them long before they were ever born of woman. He also told him that he didn't like him then, and he still didn't.

Questions like this baffle me, which is nothing surprising. Do you really think that we should be able to answer all, or even most, of the questions in the universe, especially this one, when God, which we are assuming exists for the purpose of this question, whether you really do or not, is supposed to be infinitely wise and superior to mankind, and makes decsions based upon said infinite wisdom?
In other words, how the hell should I know?

He wanted to experiment with evolution. So He made the world, and seeded it with a few organic molecules, then sat back for 5 billion years.
