No. It's a work of fiction, and what is written in that book is not necessarily "Dan Brown's theory". There are so many inaccuracies in his books, it's unbelievable. Last night I was reading "Angels and Demons" and at one point, the main character said that the words "novo ordus seclorum" appear on the U.S. dollar bill, and that this latin translates to "new secular order." Had to look that one up, and as it turns out, "novo ordus seclorum" means "New Order of the Ages". I read Dan Brown's novels because they're interesting, but I don't believe what's in them.

I also don't believe that Mary is in the Last Supper. Da Vinci often painted men who looked rather effeminate, and if Mary was there, there would be the twelve apostles, plus Mary, plus Jesus = 14 people, and there are only 13 people in the painting.

What you have to remember is that Dan Brown has taken his understanding about Christ from a fellow who was born in the 1400s......

And how would he know?...... When he, like you, or me, for that matter, was not even there......?????

No one on the face of this planet can tell you exactly what Jesus Christ looked like.... There just are no witnesses.....

Not even DaVinci...... So, do I believe his rendition?..... how can I..... He wasn't there?.........

Listening to Dan Brown's book is like Borat talking about Khazakastan when he's never been to the country......... A country he has never even been too..... Can he honestly describe a people he has never met?....... No!!!!

So.... Do you take his word for it, or go and see for yourself?..... Only a fool understands a fool who knows nothing about what he's talking about.......

No, never ever believe it last time and even after reading or watching the movie now.

The painting was done according to what da vinci believed in and that was his own personal view. We can only take it as a reference and it is up to individual to interpret the meaning.

It's not a theory - it's a work of fiction.

It's like saying "Do you believe Tolkien's theory of the origin of humans?"

No, because it was a book of fiction. Not much of it connects as neatly in the real world.

It's a variation of more ancient middle eastern tales and legends.

It does not fit well with the classic versions in wich Jesus was openly gay, making his wedding unlikely.

No. I've read one of his other books and there are so many obvious holes in his theories that it's laughable.
