Or any other entity of the past. Throughout civilization humanity has held so many different beliefs in a number of different gods and goddesses. From all the people believing in one goddess or god, do you think it is possible for all that energy of belief to soon be personified as a human form and go through the process of reincarnation.

This is just a thought that has stumped me for some time now

I am going to study certain questions that are posted, and put them into four catagories:

Christian to Athiest, "non-violent"
Christian to Athiest, "violent"
Athiest to Christian, "non-violent"
Athiest to Christian, "violent"

After the end of an undetermined time period (2-4 hours) at an undetermined time, I will post my results.

Hypothesis: Each group is equal in their actions.

I am going through a very tough time these days dealing with spiritual issues that I feel no better about than I did when I was much younger. I would like to believe... more than anything but I guess you could say I'm "agnostic".

I have read numerous times how someone has had something happen to them in their life, be it a NDE, sensing or seeing an Angel of some sorts... perhaps some kind of "vision" or just something that improved their faith and they can't fully understand and explain it.

Have you ever had any such event that strengthened or enhanced your faith? And how.

Muslim means "on who submits to God". It doesn't have any pre-requisite other than that.

That means you are probably a Muslim. Jesus was a Muslim. Moses was a Muslim. Adam and Eve were Muslims.

i have often wonderd why people concern themselves so much about what race Jesus was when i believe he could have been any race he wanted to be because he created all of them.i believe he created different races to complement each other not to destroy each other. i also believe the world would be a pretty boring place if there were only one kind of tree to look at or one kind of bird to see or one kind of anything and i guess he felt the same way. so i'm thankfull to him no matter what race he is.

Jews were not executed on the Sabbath (Friday evening into Saturday). That means Jesus would have had to die that afternoon.

I'd like to think that in these modern times, he and a handful of apostles don cone-shaped party hats and spend a few hours at the bowling alley, and end the night with a cross-shaped cake (angel food, natch) and charades. What're your thoughts?

Assume for a moment that the fairy tale is real. Yes, I know it's not, let's pretend.

Just think for a moment about the sort of people who are up there waiting for you. All the biblethumpers. Xian Fundies. Gay bashers. Misogynists. etc, ad nauseum.
What would you do there? What are you allowed to do if anything fun is a sin? How lonely would it be? Can you knit?

And then think about all the people who are apparently going to helll. All the kickass musicians nd controversial artist types. All the so-called intellectuals, free-thinkers, and scientists. Everyone who's gay. Plenty of women, because they're apparently more sinful then men by nature. 2/3 of the planet or more would be there, actually....

What would you do there? What wouldn't you do there?
Can you just imagine the party?

Personally, I'd rather miss the knitting party up above and hang with all the interesting peoples down below.
