Muslim means "on who submits to God". It doesn't have any pre-requisite other than that.

That means you are probably a Muslim. Jesus was a Muslim. Moses was a Muslim. Adam and Eve were Muslims.

Remember Muslim is an Arabic word. English definitions need not apply here.

no, muslims requires certain daily sacraments and rituals that even Jesus nor Moses nor Adam nor Steve did not practice. Allah and Jehovah are not equal.

Jesus isn't a christian, a catholic, nor a muslim. He was a jew and fulfilled the laws of the Jews.

Let's not get confused in words.
Most people refer Muslim to Islam follower. It's not easy to make people understand that the meaning of Muslim is actually person who believes and submits himself to God. (submit to God means you do as God ask you to do, which is to spread love and harmony upon earth)
But what's in a word ?
Many have fought just because of they have different opinion of a word. It's silly, of course.
Let's agree to disagree.
Respect and tolerate others, that's another goal in life.

well, this is a very tough question for people!

Im muslim myself....and his point is a bit true!

When people hear "Allah" they immediatley think its some different god belonging to the arab or middle easterners.

But it basically translate to God! Its the same the god that I pray for and the person reading this post!

P.S. Not to offend Jewish people but if you really pay attention to the T.V. The Media is controlled by Jewish people!
When you watch tv all you see it people hating america, burning flags, Palestinians throwing rocks toward israeli troops , but you do not see , Israeli troops killing innocent civilians, American troops abusing Iraqis and so forth,,

Hope that help

Submits to which god? I believe in God the Father, God the Son aka Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit, three persons in one being. The non-Christians do not believe in this definition of God. They believe in some other god. The question is not in the definition of the word but in the definition of the god.

Did you know that the Nation of Islam came out of Ishmael, Abraham's son? This would make your statement completely incorrect, being that Moses, Adam, and Eve were all predecesors of Ishmael. Also, Allah the "god" of the Muslims is NOT the same God that the Jews and Christians believe in. He is a god who revealed himself to the prophet Mohammed. Get your facts straight before making moronic assumptions.

That is rediculous...you sound like MIcheal Moore, you cut one tiny snipit out of the big picture, and use it in a context that is completely skewed. Muslims accept their god is allah and there is only one prophet and his name is Mohammad. Sorry about the spelling, but come on man....don't be silly...a person is what they defien themseleves as, not what one book says......just because it says it, does not make it true either. Better luck next time

Christians worship the One God/Holy Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and God, The Holy Spirit. I don't expect you to get the theology of the Trinity. Merry Christmas

You can play games with semantics if you like, but the fact is that words have meanings based on what they are understood to mean in general to a particular culture. I'd be amazed if you could find me a culture which uses "Muslim" in the general fashion you use it.
