I think that it would be a hit. I would tune in! It would help them get a glimpse of what the afterlife will be for them.

if i pray to the tooth fairy the same prayers that christians pray to their god (that their broken bone will mend, that i will recover from the flu, that a loved one will be healed from a wound), and my prayers are answered does that prove the tooth fairy to exist?

isnt that a big "fact" christians use to prove their god exists?

I've seen images with devil effects done in photoshop or any image editing software. I've heard stories saying a friend/relative of a friend/relative had seen the devil. But none of my friends have seen the devil directly themselves. And, I've never seen the devil or its traces in my 25 years. Also, as I believe strongly in science, I was able to give valid reasons why their "Presence of the devil" theory may just be an imagination of weak hearted.

Question Details: "Sears has thrown its support to the LOGO network. LOGO is the 24-hour cable television network dedicated to programming for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders according to a homosexual advertising website. It is carried on many cable systems around the country. Many of you have been forced to accept it as part of your cable package. Sears is now helping to make it mainstream! Sear's advertising will help LOGO air shows like "Sex 2K Drag Kings," "The Gayest and Greatest of 2006," and "Transgeneration." Sears advertising (two-minute infomercials) will go to help the fledging network get on firm financial ground. Sears advertising is financing LOGO's push to legalize homosexual marriage in addition to promoting the homosexual lifestyle. Sears is owned by Kmart Corporation." Question was thrown out because I listed the link to the information source: American Family Association and was called "spam". That tells me the homosexual community doesn't want this out!

not exact, but something along the lines of "it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven"
Does that mean rich as in a lot of wealth/power/money....or does this mean to have a "rich mans ATTITUDE"??

A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the commandment to "honor thy father and
thy mother," she asked "Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?" Without missing a beat one little boy answered, "Thou shall not kill."

if god knows everything, then why would he even bother creating people he knows are going to end up in hell? isn't that cruel? if he knows they are going to be damned forever ahead it doesn't make sense to me why he would still create these people! any thoughts?

This forum is for asking questions, not converting people, so why do people try to anyway? My beliefs are my beliefs. I'm not forcing them upon anyone.

I was at a metting at my church and they brought up how they felt about my honesty. They said they get I try to help BUT they feel they are doing wrong afterwards.
Here is one of my of my situations:
The pastor is always talking over the pulpit about his personal business and he asked me was he wrong. And I told he was and if he had that many problems he should go get help.
Was I wrong?

How DARE that Rabbi want to put up one menorah in the middle of 15 Christmas trees at the Seattle Airport? Why can't we just shove through a law that outlaws ANY holiday other than Christmas and then we won't have these pesky battles?

I personally see no reason why science and religion cannot get along. Scientists tend to come off as pushing athiesm, while Christians tend to come off as purely ignotant. Despite what Christians try to say, Evolution and The Big Bang are almost to the point of being undeniable, except that niether can say what happened at the very beginning.

So is it too hard to even contemplate that maybe, just maybe, God did create the universe but used the Big Bang and Evolution?

If God did create the universe then he must have also created science. And if God created science and gave us the remarkable intelligence to discover and unravel the mysteries of the universe. When one takes the time to look at the processes of Evolution and the Big Bang they are so perfect and remakable that, in my opinion, they are the brushstrokes of the creator.

Is it possible to say that maybe science proves the existance of the creator?

Please no "because thats not what the Bible says" answers.

For hundreds of years, christian theologians have said that the rapturs will not take place until after all the Jews convert. That being the case, how willing would you as a born again christian be to convert a Jewish family through kindness and good examples of christian love? If you could house and support more than one family, that would be even better. Are you dedicated enough to live the lifestyle of a pauper to prove your sincere christian devotion to making the rapture come to pass?
