I think that it would be a hit. I would tune in! It would help them get a glimpse of what the afterlife will be for them.

I don't know...as an "atheist" (I'm not like one of those people who goes around trying to prove Christians wrong, and apperantly I have no religion, so I'm not an atheist. I don't believe in God, simple as that.) I still kind of believe in paranormal activity. Besides "those" kinds of atheists would have some kind of crazy excuse for anything bizzarre that happens.

Celebrities tweak out, and they are more fun to watch.

Your question is idiotic on 3 levels:
1) Christians laughing at atheists? That doesn't sound very 'peace and harmony' for all people.
2) Paranormal shows? Do people actually watch them? And actually believe in them?
3) Given that nothing happens in the afterlife, it would be a terribly boring show.

I think maybe an atheist in paranormal research would be very appropriate; an atheist would deny the existence of a ruling deity in the universe but they may shed a fresh perspective on ''paranormal" phenomenon they investigate such as disembodied entities, UFOs, undiscovered species (big foot),etc.

Do celebrities do paranormal investigations?

By the way, what makes you think that some of the folks who do paranormal investigations aren't atheists?

I think an atheist would be very good on the "debunking" side of the investigation. A good team has both believers and skeptics. They should always try to debunk the haunting before saying if it's real or not.

I am an atheist. I believe in a life beyond this physical realm, the soul, the paranormal.

None of these things relies on a god.

What you mean is that you would like to see a skeptic. This could be an atheist or not. This has been done on many shows. Ex. Sci Fi Investigates http://www.scifi.com/investigates/index.php

You think paranormal investigations give a glimpse of an afterlife? You really are deluded.

How about paranormal investigations with idiots?

I would sign up in a heartbeat for such a show.

But they would never cast an atheist on such a thing, because the atheist would spoil it for everyone by exposing all the frauds.
