Why havnt we evolves extra arms?Another set of legs? Eyes in the back of our head? Or the ability to be in two place at once?
Or how about wings so we can fly like birds(not mechanical assistance, WINGS?)? According to the amount of time evolutionist say we have been on the planet; shouldnt we have evolved some of theese things? Oh I know. Why havent we evolved and extra stomach?

Hmmm......Evolution seems to have some holes in it.No?

THE UNEXPLAINED IS NOT EVIDENCE THAT GOD WAS INVOLVED

IT'S ONLY EVIDENCE THAT YOU HAVEN'T FIGURED IT OUT YET

I totally understand if they are being argued with, but in everyday situations? Surely there is no reason to?

You are commanded to educate people, sure, but if people already know what the message of the Bible is (as with the majority of Americans) aren't you just moving into the realm of JUDGING people, for not believing what you believe?

Morals are a personal choice, as is religion. If someone already knows what your religion is like, they have already been educated. There is no need to try to convert them...

If you don't is it safe to say,,the riddles aren't your real reason for rejecting Him. Since the real reason is something else, why are we wasting time going down all these rabbit holes? What do you think your real reason is? Do you know?"

I have heard it preached many times that " Once
Saved, always saved ". However, I know that many churches still say that you must get saved constantly because you still SIN. Is this true in your life or not, and Why ?

I don't mean like in a helpful way. My friends often offer to pray for me if I am feeling ill or going through a hard time, and I am grateful, because they truly mean well behind it. But I always find it amusing when a holier-than-thou Christian offers to "pray for me" because I am a "heathen", gay or some other silly thing. I always feel the urge to tell them, "All right. You pray to your god for me, and I'll pray to all my gods for you."

Anyone else feel the same? Am I alone?

So I read Revelations a long time ago and it didn't make any sense at all. Might as well have been in Chinese. Bunch of stuff about angels blowing horns and lots of suffering and dying and beasts and 7 churches. Huh?? Then on a program on History Channel it says the theory of Rapture and Tribulation is actually a modern theory and some scholars believe Revelations isn't future predictions but of historical Roman events. So I'm confused can someone explain Revelations to me??

Religion is a cultural icon.

If you are born in the west you are Christian.

Middle East Muslim

Far East: Buddist, hindu, taoist, etc.

But my question is both philisophical and historical in nature.

If you are not of European decent yet reside in America you are only christian because of the atrocities commited during European imperialism (ie destruction of the Aztecs, and the African Slave trade). Had the Europeans stayed on the continent one could argue that Blacks would either be tribal or would have converted to Islam during Islams "Golden Age" that swept across africa. If you are of American decent (native american, mexican, etc.) Then you would still have your culture and religions which were farely impressive for their day. Both groups lost your language and most of your heritage. Your ansectors were killed and enslaved and yet you subscibe to your conquers religion.

How do you feel about this? What is your reasoning? Do you see things in a different light now?

Your chance of Eternal Life is decided here on earth. You have choice to accept or reject Jesus Christ as your Saviour. The only man ever to walk the earth that was perfect, that was sent from God, his only son, to be a sacrifice for men. Your choice is NOW, not because of works or baptism when you were a child gets to into heaven, its a personal choice between you and Christ. I hope you make the choice before its too late.

One theory ascribed to religion is that it provides governance for the masses and was possibly created by political leaders. Could someone explain when and where this happened or how it works? Or perhaps a scholar who posits this view I can read? Thanks.

[Note] Yes, I am aware of Voltaire's warning not to tell the servants there is no god or they will steal the silver. I am looking for something more comprehensive and substantial.

I was just wondering, since a lot of people seem to forget the religious significance of Christmas. A lot of people might also be interested to know that certain Christmas traditions, such as Christmas trees and exchanging gifts, have pagan, not Christian origins.

By the way, in case any of you are wondering, I'm a Deist who celebrates Christmas. I love spending time with my family, exchanging gifts, and pigging out!

You always say, "You can't see air or wind but it exist"

Air can be trapped in a balloon.
Can you trap God in a balloon?

Wind can be detected and we can even test the speed of it
Can you detect how fast God is flying through the air?

We can make an air tight room
Can we make a God tight room?

I feel Americans are the most broad minded people ever! (I am an Indian btw).I am at times astonished how the Americans are always ready and willing to accept people with any kind of background, even the weirdest of people are not that weird for them. Americans never detest anybody just because of thier strange customs, infact I feel that the Americans are genuinely interested to find out about other cultures and traditions. Whereas the people in other countries would only mock and ridicule if somebody is different and not like them, it seems so very difficult for them to accept changes. What do u think?
