I believe that Jesus was/is the Son of God. As a Christian I believe Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice and show of God's love to us humans. I base in part my belief on the fact that Jews no longer sacrifice anymore - given that the Messiah's sacrifice made sacrificing no longer needed for the atonement of sins. I have asked many Jews what prophet told them to stop sacrificing and to stop obeying the laws given by Moses regarding sacrifices.

Many tell me that because there is not a temple they don't do sacrifices, but the sacrifices were done before the temple was built, and before the arc was even built!!!!

Therefore, I find this to be further evidence that Jesus was the Son of God and the ultimate sacrifice to save humans. Why else would Jews who are the chosen people of God not continue to sacrifice as their laws tell them to - to atone for sin unless the atonement has already been made through Jesus Christ. Leviticus does not say to stop sacrificing if the temple is destroyed! In fact when the temple was first destroyed many still had sacrifices on the ruins before it was rebuilt. Also - after the arc of the covenant was lost - sacrifices continued in the temple so clearly this is not needed to have the sacrifices mandated in Leviticus!

God is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe he was the messiah. Did you know that onyl about 60% of Christians believe that he was the son of God and that he died on the cross and rose again. That to me is crazy and that is in the christian church, all denoms... And a lot of people believed that the davinci code was truth, that was partly due to the author and basically he didn't care if people believed it or not. If people actually watched discovery channel they would know that it was wrong and the places he got his facts were proven false. He is a good author, and even good at fooling people to believe something that they know is fiction... I find that rather amazing.

I think Jesus was a man. I don't dispute that he existed, however I find it hard to believe he was the son of God. I believe in God, just not that Jesus is his son.

HE was the Savior to mankind. HIS death paved a path for everybody spirits upon death - to find God.

When Jesus died on the cross, there are accounts of a great darkness over the earth. A huge earthquake in Jerusalem *in that moment* that frightened the people so much so that many people converted on the spot to Christianity. There are stories in that moment of the bodies of dead people - coming alive and proclaiming love for God.

These are the things that make that ONE particular Crucifixion - out of MANY...the one that generation after generation ...land after faraway land...continued to believe in HIS power.

I believe he is the #1 example of how to live life. We are to use him as the instruction book. Although he was man just like all of us, we are all made of the same stuff as God and have the ability to live like Jesus. That is God's will for all of us.
