Internationally famous singer and film star Mariah Carey is sueing a pornstar named Mary Carey for trademark infringement.

Mariah Carey says that the public could be misled into buying the wrong kind of products because this little known pornstar is copying Mariahs name.

This confusion over the names, which are very much alike, has had catastrophic consequences for me and my wife, who are Born Again Christians, when I purchased a gift for my wifes birthday.

We put on the DVD. As soon as we saw the low standards of the writing and production, before any action had even occurred, we knew something was wrong. Then we saw Carey's wooden line readings and puzzled, deer-in-headlights facial expressions.
I checked the box: imagine our horror to find we had "Glitter" starring Mariah Carey!

I hope that this lawsuit will force Mariah Carey to change her name to clear up the confusion, so my wife and I can enjoy decent quality hard core pornography.

Has anyone else been misled?

My youth group is having a christmas party and we're all supposed to come dressed up as something or someone from out favorite christmas song or carol. like we could wear a diaper and a question mark for "what child is this" or dress up like a house for " i'll be home for Christmas". it's a contest. i need an idea of something i could do that wouldn't take alot of stuff to put together. just everyday stuff i could find around the house. the two idea's above are already taken. thanks ahead of time for your help.

i need something unique (that prolly no one else will think of ) and the song it came from. thanks

It works for the mind control of the little gray men and the incessant prattling of the Lord and Savior. I would have married my tin hat if it cooked. Unfortunately my wife had it beat in this category so she got the ring. Too bad it doesn't work on her - that would be the trifecta!

If so, what is it? Is it actually evidence THAT God is real, or is the reason "because it feels good"? If one wanted to call the Bible a reason, one would have to call any other holy book, including Harry Potter, reasons to believe their own particular magical stuff.

Why?

And I believe in evolution through God. If God created everything, then of course evolution is a part of it all. Why take God from Science?

"They" say that when someone puts "nazar" or "najar" or "the evil eye" on a child or person, the child/person falls ill, doesn't eat well, is a bit unhappy, etc. This can be deliberately done or sometimes even unintentionally.
Over the generations there have been several ways of removing this nazar, some use salt and circle the head of the person 3-7 times; some use red chillies with some salt and with it in the hand, circle the head of the person a set no. of times and then throw it all on burning coal to remove the nazar.
My kids keep falling sick, don't eat well and I have noticed that this happens (most often) soon after someone may have envied something about them... normally they say that nazar is put on a person by the person "envying" the person! this may sound like gibberish, but it is true, it does happen. honest! those who know about it, PLEASE share your methods to deal with this! thanks so much!

I have heard that, if a baby is going to die in a hospital, anyone can preform an emergency baptism on the baby so it can go to heaven. However, I assume no such ceremony would be done on an aborted baby, so does anyone know the OFFICIAL stance of the church on this?

I've grown up as a Anglician, However, I really need some advice how to deal with this situation where religion concern in this case of my boyfriend who is a Hindu. Knowing the first 2 commandents which states "You shall have no other gods before me" and "You shall not make for yourself and idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but show love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandents. Would it be wrong to change my religion? We talk about it and he was asking if we have kids what belief will they be i say your religion and I go with my belief but he suggesting that, our children will be asking a lots of questions and it will not be a like one family. I really need your advice and the best one. Please help.

you need faith to understand and believe. You better hedge your bets. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the kingdom of God.
