"They" say that when someone puts "nazar" or "najar" or "the evil eye" on a child or person, the child/person falls ill, doesn't eat well, is a bit unhappy, etc. This can be deliberately done or sometimes even unintentionally.
Over the generations there have been several ways of removing this nazar, some use salt and circle the head of the person 3-7 times; some use red chillies with some salt and with it in the hand, circle the head of the person a set no. of times and then throw it all on burning coal to remove the nazar.
My kids keep falling sick, don't eat well and I have noticed that this happens (most often) soon after someone may have envied something about them... normally they say that nazar is put on a person by the person "envying" the person! this may sound like gibberish, but it is true, it does happen. honest! those who know about it, PLEASE share your methods to deal with this! thanks so much!

In the Mexican culture it is called Mal Ojo, which is Evil Eye in english. When this happens the child must wear a red bracelet, made of any material, it can even just be some thread or yarn, just as long as it is red, to be worn on the left hand.

There are certain people who can perform the ritual of removing Nazar.
Yes methods regarding the salt is popular around the stomach and burning some type of seeds to see the extent of nazar on the person. What concerns me is the amount of times your child is getting nazar. Please consult an Imam about this matter. Also see a doctor about this just in case there could be a underlying problem.

In Scientology, we have a different view. Probably the two best answers I could give you is that this could be a situation relating to the mind. The mind keeps track of all of a perceptions perceptions and then you use your mind. However, sometimes your mind can act reactively (unknowingly) and this could have a bad effect on you. Every person has a mind, so this would apply to your child just the same.

Secondly, you should learn about the cause of suppression and the effects this could have on a person. Particularly if a person does well sometimes and then not so well and then well, etc. Like a roller coaster. This is an indication that there is someone in the environment that is causing suppression towards the person.

And the actual of the Morning to you too lassie! an excellent day right here in Cali! the only element I even have researched that i might attempt a holistic concepts-set to is TMJ purely before any surgical operation. basically because of the fact I even have heard some all of us isn't extremely joyful with the outcomes of the surgical operation! yet sure often times i prefer to throw my palms up interior the air and pass holistic because of the fact i think which ever dogs on the time is below vet care is on too lots drugs. yet I even have not rather had lots greater adventure with it than that. Oh and that i in all likelihood could point out none of my dogs have TMJ (thank you Jesus) I purely researched while a pal of mines dogs became into clinically determined with it. She opted for the surgical operation! not a chuffed camper after surgical operation!*;*

I totally agree with all the answers above, except the few which pooh-pooh the idea of nazar. It is NOT something which is a figment of our imagination, it does happen. I also use salt, but "rai ka daana" along with it.
also use a mug of water and just circle the head / whole body with the mug then throw the water down the basin drain.

My method is very simple. I tend to grow up and use my brains to understand that this is just an old wives tale. I also realize that I am NOT an old wife and I stop believing in idiotic superstitions.
So this is what you have to do. First, stop believing this nonsense! Second, be a parent and take charge of your child's health. Take your kid to a qualified doctor! Find out what is wrong and fix it.
Finally take some salt, and some red chillies put them in a pot along with some veggies and make a fantastic curry. Enjoy!

Tie a red string around their wrist. If you can find a tiny plastic eyeball you can add as a bead, that is better. But the string should help. Transylvanian gypsy tradition.

A salt circle? Please take you kid to a doctor. Not a psychic. Stop believing in freaking magic. It is not real. If you were in a car accident and you were losing blood fast. Would you pray or would you pick up a cell phone and call a medic? The evil eye is in your stupid mind i feel sorry for your kids.

Seek guidance and protection from God, he is our only protector.
I would say recit Ayatul-Kursi, maybe consult an Imam.
