Because we (the whole human race) have separated ourselves from God.
We have been ruling ourselves without God's guidance for a very long time. As a result, we have polluted our bodies and minds, not only in a spiritual sense, but also in a physical sense. When we pollute, we don't realise what problems it will cause. It's only when it's too late, that we sit up and take notice. There are solutions that we can make use off, like medicine, health regimes, operations, etc, but these valient efforts are only stop-gap solutions. The ones that could do something about it don't seem interested. It is really only God's kingdom that has the power and the will to do it. (Revelation chapters 21 and 22, Psalms 37)

When God finished His creation it was perfect. In the Garden of Eden there was no death, no sickness and no harmful creatures. The sin of Adam and Eve brought death and sickness into the world and damaged the whole of creation, (the origin of entropy). In this new environment of death, decay and corruption outside the garden of Eden, animals which had once been peaceful, became aggressive and predatory, microbes which had once been benign became harmful. Weather became unpredictable and potentially severe. And the Earth became unstable and liable to natural disasters.
The original sin of Adam and Eve put a curse on God's, once perfect creation. So it is humans that are responsible for any evil we perceive in the natural world

Because Most of the world has fallen ill with a sickness of the mind called religion.
This evil disease causes people to spread hate, kill and destroy.
