Why?

And I believe in evolution through God. If God created everything, then of course evolution is a part of it all. Why take God from Science?

Wrong Black: When I think of science, I think of everything out there, space, mountains, water, people.... everything!!!! The difference, is that I believe God created it all and I do not separate the two.

Science is about systematic observation and careful logical analysis. If science relies on God for explanations, it is lost.

Imagine if Newton's thought when the apple falling was, "Why did God drop the apple on my head?" There is no room for God in the equations, and no logical basis to include God in a hypothesis, since it would be, by definition, unprovable.

Whaddya mean, why? Why not believe in god? Because there's no good reason to - nobody has ever supplied me with an argument that I could not rephrase in naturalistic terms. I don't need "god" in my model of the world.

So your supposition is that your God is so lazy, he lets evolution do all his work for him? What a waste of "omnipotent" power - creating things to his specification should be a no-brainer, right? I thought he needed 7 days?

Science does not entangle itself specifically with god, only to the point that it explains everything that we used to attribute to god to naturalistic causes. Why do the stars move? God? Nope - the earth spins. Why does the sun rise and fall? God? Nope - the earth spinning again. Where does lightning come from? God? Nope - static electricity in clouds. Where did we come from? God? Nope - a combination of gases with electricity running through them ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller-Urey_experiment ). Who sustains me? God? Nope, *I* do that. I work hard to get what I want in life.

God has less and less feet to stand on because of science - what is god's job title at this point? Heavenly starter of universe singularities? But who designed the designer? People say that life cannot arise due to "high improbability"; similar to a "747 arising out of parts in a junk yard." Well, just consider: your idea of god is the *ultimate* 747. How improbable is THAT?

God was never in science.

Science is based off materialism, also known as methodological naturalism, which is the assumption that observable events in nature can be explained by natural causes without assuming the existence of the supernatural.

Simply put, science does not assume god and has not needed to in order to explain anything.

Your definition of science is false. Science is a set composed of a method for gathering and verifying knowledge (the scientific method), and the accumulation of all knowledge forged in this process.

How could so many things come from ONE? And, different as plants, animals, sea creatures, etc. are, everything is divided between female and male. I see absolutely no reason to think or believe a single male is responsible for creating. How absurd.

In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being, I say, "I don't know ......YET!". To believe that some god creature my less than intellectual ancestors made up instantaneously farted the universe into existence, is absurd.

Science requires proofs. God has no proofs.

God could be considered the cause of it all, but we just lack any evidence that shows a God to be the exclusive reason behind it all.

Just so you understand Tami, people don't give you thumbs down because you're a christian. They give you thumbs down because this is a bad question. It manages to be condesending AND to show that you have no concept of what science is - at the same time.

Why mix God and science, if one doesn't believe in God?

Why ask why? What earthly reason do I have to believe in God? Belief belongs in the past-it means nothing in this day and age.
