I was always under the impression that all days belonged to God. but you can celebrate a pagan day whenever you wish but this day and all days truly belong to God without God there would be no pagans.

Okay, let's try this out...
The Solstice is a "floating" day that occurs between December 21st and December 23rd nomally, as it is a celestial occurance.
December 25th was, in Roman times and the beginning of Christianity, the day that the followers of Mithras celebrated his birth.
December 21st is the day many pagans choose to celebrate Yule.
December 25th was chosen as the day to celebrate christ's birth for the very reason that is WAS a holiday already celebrated...it was done in hopes of converting more pagan to christianity
EASTER is also a floating holiday, and although it has acquired many pagan symbols along the way, is not, in and of itself a pagan holiday. The first Easter took place during the jewish passover and is the celebration of the reserrection according to christian tradition. So, to answer your question, Easter (which is the name it acquired long after the holiday was first celebrated) IS Jesus' "own day".

Jesus does have his own holiday. The Pagan holiday you refer to is our Yule, and it's on the 21st of December. Yes, Christmas was developed to rival Yule, and bring people back to Christianity, but no, they are by no means the same thing.

Winter solstice is Dec. 21, not Dec. 25.
Research your thoughts before posting. Makes you look foolish.

easter is derived from a pagan holliday as well...
for those that said winter solstice is on the 21st, it was believed that the solstice was on the 25th, thus the celebration of the pagan god whose name meant the unconquered sun, proved himself unconquered on this day.

Every day is Jesus' day if you believe in Him.December 25th is a holy day for pagans. The Catholic church wanted more members so they let them bring their holy days, graven images,& other rituals into the church with them.Study the Catholic church a little & you will see how crooked & perverse it is.It has nothing to do with Christianity.
